Using Jerry Springer to make Ann Coulter look bad. That's a good move.

Actually, Ann should be a guest on his TV show.

Regardless of which end of the political spectrum one favors, I think this is a pretty funny bit.

Ann needs no help in making herself look bad! BTW, Springer's radio show is a far cry from his TV circus. It is all political, from a liberal / progressive perspective. He is actually quite smart (he was a mayor, you know).

He was a disgraced mayor of Cincinatti, resigning after a sex scandal. And smart ? You've gotta be kidding me. And yes, I've listened to his pathetic radio show. (It ran out of funding in Missoula, the most liberal city in Montana, along with the rest of Air America)

Jerry Springer is a bottom feeding exploiter. Ann Coulter would chew him up.

We only occasionally get his show here, since the local Air America affiliate doesn't run him, but runs Ed Shultz instead. But when I have heard him, he is really articulate and well-informed. I would love to hear him debate Coulter.

Your local AA affiliate may have not made it, but there Denver/Boulder affiliate is running strong: www.am760.net. Plus, in addition to all the affiliates, they are on XM Satellite Radio.

It's funny, isn't it? In Missoula, Al Franken was the "most listened to" talk show. Now Air America has become JACK FM.

So much for "tell a lie enough......"

XM is strictly for bluegrass & baseball.

Stick with Springer. I'm really glad you let this out. When I hear him, I hear the daily Kos talking points.

In Phoenix, a conservative Christian group bought the Air America station just to change the format. The progessive community raised cash and had a new station back on the air within a month.

I think its great! Why should talk radio be all one sided. You need people like Springer, Franken, Rhodes, Malloy et. al. as a counterbalance to the likes of Savage, Limbaugh, Ingraham and their ilk.

Curtis, despite our political differences of opinion, I'm with you on the bluegrass & baseball.

But I hate to see liberals resort to their kind of tactics....it feels so....dirty.

Can't we just rebut them with truth, logic and the American way?

This one is going to win me friends.

    Bluegrass? You betcha!!!

Baseball? Isn't that like listening to golf?

    ..........................................................

Poles: I agree, differing view points are always important to help you choose what to believe, rather than be told what to believe. I welcome liberals to take to the airwaves. I would be interested in hearing their point of view. But honestly, when they were on the air here, I tried to listen, and all I learned is what they think of Bush.

Ever listen to Tony Kornhieser ? Now there's a funny liberal. Brilliant, also.

He's on Extreme talk, XM 153, or something like that. He's also on ESPN's PTI show. Look him up, I'm sure you'll love him.

I think you have it backwards. Ann Coulter makes Jerry Springer look good.

BTW, it's apparently true. They must really fear those guys, if they went to such efforts to shut them down. Looks like it was wasted effort though; they'll be back on the air shortly.

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. The Trotskyite takeover of conservativism in America happened after they got rightwing loopers loose on the airwaves.

    You crack me up.

They can't get sponsors, so the station, she's-a-no-more. Apparently the major businesses around here would rather listen to Limbaugh on static-laden KGVO-AM than hear Randy Rhodes, Al Franken, & their ilk on crystal-clear FM. I live here, I read the Missoulian article. Come back ? We'll see. Strange things happen. But I doubt it.

Coulter vs. Springer. One says things that some people say are bad, and they want to hang her. The other does things the law says are bad, and they get cow eyes.

I'm no fan of Springer, either. But you have to admit he's got a lot more class and integrity than Coulter.

    Springer has class and integrity?

Obviously you are speaking in the extreme to show how much you despise Ann Coulter.
