I think she’d draw the line at blessing trolls, same sex or otherwise.

A very good thing I know she has no authority to bless anything.

But the question isn’t about whether Mary blesses anything.

Do you believe Mary agrees with your Pope that priests can “bless” same s:x couples?

I do understand the Pope’s statement puts a lot of Catholics in a tough spot, and many have openly opposed his statement.

    Peace to you

Mary blessed us with Jesus by agreeing to be His mother.

As the document says, it’s not blessing the union. The blessing is for individuals. The document also states that the blessing it is not an endorsement of the gay lifestyle or activity.

No, but it does leave us open to criticism by ignorant people that haven’t read the document, or know what blessings mean in context. They don’t want understand the issue, they want to confirm their prejudices mostly.

Do you consider Frank to be infallible? That’s the real question.

She agreed to be a vessel to that event. What’s more she met his needs & reared him in his childhood to manhood journey. Lastly she was there at his crucifix time which was hard to witness… but she remained present. Give credit where credits due.

My understand of the statement from the Pope is that priests can “bless” same s:x couples. If it didn’t say “couples”, there would have been far less controversy. Maybe you should read it again before accusing others of ignorance.

I do understand the verbal gymnastics that attempts the distinguish between “blessing” same s:x couples and “blessing” a “union” between same s:x couples. That is a distinction without a difference and Catholics around the world plainly understand this is a move toward recognizing g:y marriage.

It has caused confusion within the Catholic community, at best, and open rebellion against your Pope and the statement.

    peace to you

An agenda that Frank continues to push btw. Also, where does his agency, Catholic Charities, get off funding illegal aliens with transportation, housing, food etc into the United States?

If you are so certain what the statement says, you should vote “yes” Mary agrees with my Pope, the Victor of Christ, the mouthpiece of God Himself who is infallible when issuing statements on such issues.

    peace to you

The Church doesn’t control immigration policy, it’s only responding to the crisis created by the lawless government.

    Frank, no.

Francis, Yes, if he is speaking Ex cathedra, and it doesn’t go against previous Ex cathedra statements of previous Popes, those past doctrines can’t be changed.

The Chair of Moses was still used by God, even though the guy judged Jesus to His Face.

Jesus established the Office of Peter, it can not be prevailed against even after 2000 years of every kind of attack, it was founded by the power of Jesus Word.

There will be more crises to come, like the past and possibly far worse, but the Chair Jesus established will remain until He returns.

Blessings are for the individual whether they present as a couple or group, it’s not marriage.
Yes Mary would agree with the Pope.

Also those in irregular heterosexual relationships, divorced etc can receive an individual blessing without legitimating their union.

So if a priest blesses 50 soldiers, are they married? No. It’s an individual blessing for each, even though they present as a group.
Blessing people is fine, it’s not endorsing the union.

It shuts the door on gay marriage, it blesses individuals, it does not endorse, condone or bless the union.

I only legitimize heterosexual couples that conceive and have children. A blessing should be twofold(1) Honoring God (2) rearing children correctly … a myriad of rules for that one. … and this cannot be done if you can’t procreate! This is where the blessing emphasis should be stressed. I sincerely believe that this pope is a false one and an agent of the devil because he is underhandedly promoting a homosexual lifestyle which is forbidden in Christs church. Mary, the mother of Jesus the Christ would not approve.

You are wrong. The pope is not 'infallible when making such statements'. You need to read the catechism. This is a common misunderstanding by many evangelicals. If he speaks 'ex-cathedra', he is infallible. That is a rare occurrence. The last time that happened was in 1950. And, he is the 'vicar of Christ', not victor.
