A little late to the party, are we?
Hey now!! In my defense, I was away when he posted that one. I came home and BB didn't show me that as an unread thread!! So I missed it. WAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
But I still think it's funny, especially since I LOVE bacon.
I do believe that most Calvinists are predestined to love bacon. I have yet to meet one who does not.
I was at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and I saw a cart in the parking lot with a bag in it that looked like it has stuff in it. I checked it out and it was a perfect bag. 3 packs of bacon and a bunch of chocolate. What more could a woman want??? I did return it to the store though. But it was tough....
I knew there was a good reason that God told his people to avoid pork!
From a flower to breakfast meat.
Now, that's funny, even to a DoG like me!
Yeah, but this is KOSHER bacon, prepared under strict rabbinical supervision!!:thumbs:
Either way, it is making me irresistibly hungry!
wrap it around some sea scallops, squeeze some lemon on it, and grill it up:thumbsup:
Having raised pigs on our farm in Maine, I can tell you right now that they are totally depraved.
A HA!! So those flower-power TULIP dudes are right!! Classic example of at least a "one pointer"!! :tongue3::tongue3:
(BTW, This ought to put a whole new dimension to the Prodigal Son's last job situation!!):smilewinkgrin:
Even dogs understand BACON!
But of course, as Skan was predestined by God to post that reply!
Ahh, but the burning questions is: Were they only one-point Calvinists?
Sea scallops and bacon, double treif!
20 for, if having escaped from the pollutions of the world, in the acknowledging of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and by these again being entangled, they have been overcome, become to them hath the last things worse than the first,
21 for it were better to them not to have acknowledged the way of the righteousness, than having acknowledged [it], to turn back from the holy command delivered to them,
22 and happened to them hath that of the true similitude; `A dog did turn back upon his own vomit,' and, `A sow having bathed herself -- to rolling in mire.'
They might start out as one-pointers....but when that one point gets firmly rooted...all the others will follow in time:thumbsup:
Oh and more than breakfast meat....LOL
