The eye should be single, on Him only, the cares of this world(in this case politics) are worthless in the Kingdom.

Are you not taking your eye off of Him when you are on the internet?

    Or shopping for groceries?

Or putting gas in your car?

Why do you single out politics?

I don't take my eye off Him when shopping, I look for opportunities.

It is partly a political question, and because religion does try to put their "champion" in office. Herod's leaven

The important question would be do you know Jesus? His ways, His thoughts on any and every subject, so I can be like Him. It's a Theocracy a Christian lives in, not a Democracy, in the world not of it.

You are in a political discussion forum saying that instead of politics that people should be concerned about sharing the gospel.

You as much as said that a person cannot care about both.

So again - do you vote or not?

Zaac, how do you know when someone else is saved ? I mean, I think the last people who knew for sure were the people who heard Christ himself pronounce it as so.

Does the Holy Spirit tell you when someone is saved ? Do you personally hear angels rejoicing ? How do you know ?

I'm in a Christian forum saying what Jesus said for Christians to do. He never said "Go forth unto every nation and make them Christians through whatever political system they have." lol!

He told us what He thought about politics

He told us what to do

Why is this so difficult for you?

    It is a simple question.

    Do you vote or not?

In my mind when someone refuses to answer a straight forward simple question that is on topic it calls everything that they have said into question.

How can I take seriously anything that you have said about the gospel and politics if you refuse to be honest in such a small thing as telling us whether or not you vote?

Is this an example of how you evangelize?

Yes, you did. Your hypothesis is that by voting for Romney, someone doesn't get saved. The opposite is that, by voting for Obama, someone gets led to salvation.

And there you go proving what I said.

So again: if someone refuses to hear the Word based on who I voted for, then I'd have to ask what it is they think salvation is really all about.

In other words, the hypothetical person made a decision about their salvation based on how I voted.

So in other words, you're saying politics has nothing to do with preaching the gospel, and therefore Zaac's question is invalid. Correct?

I answered, you just did not see it. What did Jesus think about politics?
And to you sir, is the gospel more important, or are you deceived thinking you can incorporate Christianity into worldly things?

Politics are invalid in this kingdom, it's man made and has nothing to do with Christ.

    You answered?

Really? Was it a "yes, I vote" or "no, I don't vote"?

Again, is this an example of how you evangelize?

Nope. The hypothetical person made a decision about whether or not to let you witness to him based on how you voted.

Read your bible, Jesus departed from them when they tried to make Him natural king. The NT is full of examples of "publicans" being evil. "Where there is envy and strife, there is all sorts of evil." Do you understand Theocracy and Democracy? Now knowing these things, why would I vote for a worldly man in a worldly system, when Jesus is Lord?

    No I didn't.

And there you go proving what I said.

And they probably wouldn't turn to you for that answer as you want to tell them that they need a Savior, but it's okay that your candidate of choice doesn't worship that Savior.
