I am now reading The Atonement Child.

    What do you think?

I LOVE Francine Rivers' novels for Christians.

And they are not just for women, either. I am a history buff and some of her books are historically researched so well that men who enjoy historical novels would enjoy them too.

I have read everything that she has written.

She used to write those ol' secular "romance" novels, but in 1985, Francine Rivers got saved!!

And now, she still writes fiction, but it is about real life and people's relationships with Jesus, family, and friends, and not the opposite sex.

Her books are full of current issues (like Atonement Child - abortion) and she doesn't hold anything back.

She isn't preachy. She isn't sappy. And she definitely isn't boring. But she teaches the reader that Christians, no matter what era in time they live(d), must take a stand for Christ. And that stand usually costs something.

Atonement Child was actually my least favorite. But I still enjoyed it and the message was very important.

"Do we really believe what we say we believe?"

Her books are some of my all time favorites!!

    Peace-

    I LOVE Francine Rivers!!

Atonement Child is probably my favorite - but Redeeming Love is right up there next to it!

Francine Rivers is probably my favorite Christian author, and one of my favorite authors, period.

"Atonement Child" is probably my favorite of her books, along with the "Mark of the Lion" series.

In order for a book to really capture my fancy,it has to be one that I can't put down! Rivers' books have that effect on me.
