Hi, I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed before.

We are a smaller church, with a thin budget for software and other items.

Does anyone know of a free or inexpensive software program that we could use to help us maintain records for Sunday School, Visitation, Church Membership, giving etc?

God Bless and Thanks in advance for your help

Check out infocentral.com. It is a php program and takes some knowledge to set it up, but it keeps a church directory, can track giving, families, ministry involvement, all kinds of stuff.

It is a free program. We have and are getting info entered in to it.

http://www.en2.com/ has a free program that is rather impressive for free. Have been playing with it a little bit.

I might add that you probably will be stuck with it if you start with it. I didn't find anyway to export your data to another program.

I'd think about whether upgrading to something else is possible in the future, cuz someone is going to have to retype all that stuff :)

    Yes, thanks Greg ... www.infocentral.org

The good thing about it is that it uses MySQL so if you know MySQL you can do a lot. It doesn't have attendance tracking and stuff yet, I don't think.

And infocentral is a webbased so you are not limited by installation. Any computer on teh network can access it, and it can even be served over a website to access it at home.
