Whenever anyone points out President Obama’s underwater approval rating, the response from Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) is always that Congress’ approval rating is even lower, along the lines of cockroaches and Ebola. Well, what a difference a day makes, when that day is Election Day 2014. The latest Gallup Poll suggests that Americans didn’t hate Congress so much as they'd had a belly full of the half of it presided over by Harry Reid. Republicans in Congress now have a higher approval rating (42%) than Congressional Democrats (36%) or Obama (39%). That’s a record low for the Democrats, down from 51% right after the 2012 elections:

    42 to 36 to 39?

[IMG] Must be a slow news day when folks got to brag about those type of approval numbers.

Whenever Republican operatives post low approval ratings for Democrats they seem to forget to post the same stats for Republicans. Here are the lowest approval ratings (Gallup) for Presidents from the past 40 years. This is the lowest it got for these guys.

    Nixon...........24
    Ford.............37
    Carter..........28
    Reagan.........35
    Bush Sr.........29
    Clinton..........37
    Bush W.........29
    Obama.........38

Hmmm...so Obama's lowest rating of all time is still higher than all the previous Republican presidents in the past 40 years.

Why must you continue to expose partisanship for what it is? You keep this up and you're gonna end up on somebody's IGNORE list.[IMG]

Everyone is partisan about something. Anyone who tries to act like they are not or makes the claim they are not either does not know what partisan is or is lying. Just like some here who are partisan against Fox News or any news source they do not personally like.

You know what all these numbers really mean don't you? We Americans consistently pick losers to lead this country. These are numbers both sides should be real proud of.

Could be Gruber is right about us being stupid.
