Back up to 1.79 here (.20 increase overnight). Did one of the oil honcho's sneeze overnight, or something?

No, it snowed in the south. NO and Houston in particular. Your prices went up on the false speculation that distribution would be interupted. Folks sometimes don't understand that it can snow down south one day and be 70 the next, which is basically what happened.

Filled up yesterday at a buck forty-three nine. That's $1.439 per gallon(U.S.) for those who may need to see it written out.

The way I got it all figgered out, it's all due to Exxon-Mobil and Chevron all wanting to make more money, and therefore it is all George W. Bush's fault that as has dropped in price from four bucks and tewnty-nine.nine cents ($4.299)a gallon, to this price today. (After Jan. 20, 2009, it'll all be apparently be Barack H. Obama's fault whatever happens, hopefully with him in both good health and a very successful President of the United States, until Jan. 20, 2013, when he will either be re-elected or not, providing 'this world stands.')

Incidentally, by exactly how much did President Bush and Vice-President Cheney increase their own personal worth, considering their interests in "the oil bidness", when the price of oil moved from >$147 per barrel, to <$45 per barrel, as it is today??
