“The speculative and often uninformed initial reporting that characterizes our media appears to be rapidly becoming the standard of the industry.” “[T]actically insignificant events have become strategic defeats.” And: “The death knell of your ethics has been enabled by your parent organizations who have chosen to align themselves with political agendas. What is clear to me is that you are perpetuating the corrosive partisan politics that is destroying our country and killing our service members who are at war.”

That quote was from the same speech, much ballyhooed by the media, in which he was critical of the handling of the war.

The media just kind of slid right over this quote, for obvious reasons.

They slid right over it because he says their rhetoric is responsible for the aid and comfort of the enemy and is like givcing the enemy bombs and guns.

And thats justs for starters, we gave them AK47's...thousands and thousands of them, probably each one went with a battle pack of a couple hundred rounds of ammo on bandoleers, five or six spare mags and a bottle of that Russian "red grease' my gun broker is always out of. Good stuff.

Gotta figure the enemy got it's hands of some of that what was it 350 million on pallets that got lost? Chump change. Plus all the other missing and unacounted for money, and that's just in Iraq. Then there's Afghanistan. We're paying half the rats to rat the other half out, ...in cycles. And we pretty much leave the poppy crop alone.
