If you are a person who gets comfort from a musical instrument you probably understand how horrible it would be to someone like you to be trapped with no way to make music.

As we load up things to send to shelters across the country, lets scour our houses for the clarinets we gave up in high school or the guitars we never bothered to restring, and pass them on so that these people can have their music back.

Let's do the same for artists.

Life is so much more than food and clothing.
Lets send things real art supplies, real musical instruments.

And definately bibles. Not just the Gideon King James, but the NIV's and RSV's and anything else that they might have used at home. Devotional books, and Christian magazines.

TexasSky, that is a good idea. My wife and I gave a new "NKJV" Bible for a Southern Baptist Church in MS. The Bible was still "new" for it had the shrink wrap plastic still around it. We are not Southern Baptist but GARBC. We have a work team there for a week. They are to be returning to Indpls, IN on Sat, 9-24-2005.

    Thanks, mr. messy
