    Steavr:

Are you about finished with this discussion or are you going to continue with it? Eschatology is something I am studying more in-depth these days. (although I am always looking for Christ's coming, distractions excepted)

    Everyone else:

I feel steavr has been treated most unjustly on this thread. Many of you went to personal attacks and mockery. Shameful. And this observation (as most of you know) isn't coming from someone who agrees with his end-times views in detail.

But as for his MAIN exhortation to be looking for and eagerly expecting the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and being found faithful when He does come, steav is 100% correct. It doesn't matter which end-times view you hold in this regard: Those who are not "found so doing" will be ashamed at His coming.

I have said, and have given scripture, which no one has refuted nor have they given an alternate application for to refute my application, that the powers that be are ordained of God. If those powers be evil, then we may resist (no law breaking lest the law breaks God's law) and should try to persuade them to do good, this God would support. However, we KNOW from scripture that this world must go to one world government for the antichrist to take his place in prophecy.

Anyone who believes in their mind that this trend, which they very well admit is unfolding before their very eyes, can be reversed is living with blinders on as to what the scriptures, which they should be searching, declares about this world.

Secondly, they rail of how "evil" this thought of a one world government is. This world will not go to one world government nor one world currency under the theme of doing it for "evil". It will be done, and agreed upon by most countries and people, that it is a "good" thing for everyone's benefit.

So what these folks are "resisting" is not evil, but they are simply dissatisfied that God is changing the world to fit this one world government that He said is to come. That is resisting God and God's ordained powers to be.

The one world government in itself being an "Evil" is just a personal opinion with no biblical foundation. Folks now, even this day and for years before, has called the USA an "Evil". Opinion, nothing more. What we do know from the scripture is that this world will go one government and a man of perdition will end up in the head honcho seat. Then it will indeed be an "evil" government.

Should we have resisted Hitler? Of course, but we resisted his breaking of God's law, murder, we did not resist him because he was doing good. Murder is an absolute, no opinion needed. What law of God's will the one world government be breaking just by coming into existence? Please tell me?

The Bible says they will make laws forbidding Church services. The Bible says only unGodly things will happen under it.

    There is nothing to ask.

    Your position is clear.

Just because you believe in a strict interpretation of predestination and deny that God allows man to cook his own goose doesn't mean others believe like you do. You might as well say that God makes you sin, as well. I reject that view.

As for your eschatalogical views, you've already indicated you don't really have a clue what's going to happen. So why bother trying to discuss a subject with someone who has already admitted their lack of knowledge about it.? All kinds of crackpots claim to be able to "discern" the times.
But no man can know the day.

Best be ready. If you're ready , it doesn't matter when. I don't spend any time worrying ..or even thinking...about it.

    He'll come when He comes.

Your misguided analysis of "what I believe" is what they call a "straw man". You were asked for your application of Romans 13 and have yet to post anything concerning it. It's a simple question, Does the USA fall under Romans 13 or is in exempt and why?

I believe I stated more than a few times that I KNOW one world government is coming. I KNOW one world currency is coming. I posted scripture to support my views. So again, you are not representing my view in your analogies.

All kinds of crackpots claim to be preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Shall we stop having preachers?

Why aren't you discerning the signs of the times as Jesus said we should? Why aren't you seeing the Day approaching as Hebrews says we should?

Finally, Amen! We agree on scripture.

Can I ask you a question? Would you love to see Him come real soon? Like as soon as this week even?

2Ti 4:8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Rev 1:7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Rev 22:20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

:jesus: Many of my friends and loved ones reject you Jesus. Even so, come Lord Jesus, come...."true and righteous [are] thy judgments."

    I Get My Word from.........

Him. That's correct. A prophet gets the word directly from God, not Van Impe. Not Lindsey. Although these men have great things to say when it comes to the coming of the Lord. The Word says He will return like a thief in the night. Does that not indicate a need to be ready and prepared? It would be ludicrous to not prepare one's home and life knowing that a thief is on the way!

You can poke all the fun, and all the ignorant comments possible, and in the end, you will be caught unprepared and that will cost you dearly.

He is coming. And the people of the early church, just like those from that day on have lived: in a state of spiritual expectation. That state calls for a life of Holiness, and that is why we are taught to live a Holy life.

He is coming, and be it just to take me home before the great "Airlift" [with the multitudes] from the cemetery's and every house and street corner around this world, I live with the confidence and expectation that one day soon, I will personally see the face of my Lord, coming to welcome me to heaven.

So either way, my friends in "Mokingville, USA", I will live to see the coming of the Lord, like a thief in the night, He will come and wrap me up in His arms and welcome me back home, as a traveler whose trip has finally ended.

See you all there, one day for sure!

The point of your post eludes me other than to show that you are awake.

I am like the patriarch Abraham I look for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.[Hebrews 11:10]

I do know that the error of Darby/Scofield has sadly deluded untold millions of people who are ignorant of the teachings of Scripture regarding the Return of Jesus Christ in Power and Great Glory. Scripture teaches, contrary to Darby/Scofield that the Redeemed of Jesus Christ will continue as a witness to His Salvation through whatever trials, tribulation, and persecution the world has to offer. Upon His return:

    1. There will be a general resurrection of all the dead, the saved and the unsaved.

    2. All will stand before the Great White Throne of judgment.

    3. Satan and the unsaved will be cast into the lake of fire.

    4. Those who are the redeemed of Jesus Christ will dwell in the New Heavens and Earth with the Triune God eternally.

Perhaps the saddest error of Darby/Scofield is they falsely teach that Jesus Christ came to offer an earthly kingdom to the Jews, that they rejected His offer, and that He established the Church instead, His Bride which He purchased with His own blood.[Acts 20:28]
