how wonderful! I very proud of our public school district! The girls even in kindergarden aren't allowed to wear the belly shirts, or shorts to school! They aren't allowed to wear flip-flops either!! Maybe...just maybe, this country will get back to where it is worth buying the clothes!
    Thanks for that site!!

What is really awesome to me is the fact that this article seems to be indicating that young girls are more and more choosing to wear more modest fashions. That tells me that some parents are starting to wake up about what we allow our children to wear and what we teach our children about what is and what isn't acceptable. There is some good news in the world.

Although it may be a good thing for young girls to want to dress modestly, and I APPLAUD that ideal, I must say I was EXTREMELY offended by the Victoria's Secret ad with this story your linked.
Why in the world would you even post such junk?
Moderator? Have you even LOOKED at this to determine if it should be posted?
Where , oh where, is "big brother" when we need him?

Interesting that you are offended by a FoxNews sponsor but seem to have no problem posting on a board that uses Google ads as one of their sponsors which advertizes all sort of evil. I also will note that you have no problem using the internet which supports all kinds of racism, anti-semitism, pornography, liberalism, etc...

Who is your internet provider? Are you sure you know what they might be supporting. Don't get too high and mighty on me when you are not perfect yourself. Tell you what. When you get rid of your internet connection and stop posting on the Baptist Board, look me up in your phone book which probably also advertizes strip clubs, call girl services and abortion clinics and let me know how righteously indignant you are about me posting a link to FoxNews about a story about a girl who wants to dress more modestly.

I just checked the link out myself - there was no Victorias Secret ad, the ads must change daily or multiple times a day. I daresay that when Joseph posted the link that the Victorias Secret add was not there

I just clicked the link a couple more times - twice the Victorias secret add was there, twice it was not! I guess that is the problem anytime one posts a link to a secular organization.

Seems like at one time we had a banner on the BB that we did not intend to have, but that the BBs search engine put there because of the topic

I accessed the link to read the story. As usual, I just ignore advertisements, expecially if they are blatantly trying to get my attention. When av1611jim mentioned the Victoria's Secret ad, I went back looking for it. I still can't find it. Maybe I'm not very observant or maybe they have taken it out.

You beat me to the punch. You did much better and exhaustive "research" than I. [IMG]
