Gunman Kills Shoppers at Omaha Mall

A man armed with a rifle opened fire on shoppers at a busy shopping mall in Omaha, Nebraska, killing eight before killing himself. His mother found a suicide note, stating he wanted to "go out in style."

He was on a prescription drug. More than likely abusing its use.

Here's the other reason.

The young shooter, who left a note predicting, "Now I'll be famous," wounded five others, two critically, then took his own life.
