Joe Boyett of Riverside, CA wrote the following in a letter to editor, and I found it interesting enough to share in order to secure from you folks your opinions as to whether Mr. Boyett is unto something, or just out in space.

The words “We the People of the United States” and “government of the people, by the people, for the people” have different meanings in 2013 when the “people” in the United States are divided and polarized over declarations of unalienable rights and claims of entitlement.

From Plato through James Madison to the present, philosophers have warned that the greatest threat to democracy is mob rule, where a simple majority of Pauls vote into power leaders who will rob a productive minority of Peters to pay Pauls.

Banker Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild said, “Give me control of a nation’s money, and I care not who makes its laws.” He, though, underestimated the importance of making laws.

Give me control of a democracy’s welfare programs and I’ll use mob rule to make laws, and together with whoever controls the nation’s money, we will rule like god or the antichrist.

Is it possible that with all the entitlements being handed out to those in need, Obama is creating a "mob rules" mentality that will cement his changes in place while carving out a legacy that will make him the father of socialism here in the US of A?

Yes, the takers out number the makers and thus a welfare state is now in control. That is until the minority gets fed up and quits making money, or moves to the Netherlands. Not only that we also see the immoral make laws for themselves that force their immorality upon all. That is a disregard for the Constitution though. Obama is good at that.

Nope. A mob has to have a leader to be effective. Our present el presidente seems to have no such inclination.

We are still being gridlocked by special interest groups, lobbys, and partisan politics.

It is time to check the oil level in the lamps.

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
