I think you're barking up the wrong tree. Just because they're Arabs doesn't make them terrorists or pro-terrorism or even pro-Islamist.

From Amnesty International Human Rights Watch:
    They're harsher than we are.
They appear downright anti-Islamist, as a political movement, even though they do have shari'ia law. They seem primarily interested in business and trade. They are seeking to diversify their assets before the oil runs out.

It's still a foreign government, no matter who they are. No foreign government should be taking over a US Defense company. Period.

Since Doncasters is a foreign company, this would be just changing one foreign company for another - www.doncasters.com .

I thought your problem was any foreign company, regardless of who owns it, operating any portion things such as our ports or the defense industry, LE. Did I misunderstand your position when the port issue was in play?

The fact that Dubai World is owned by the Dubai government trumps everything.

Just to be clear then, LE, you don't object to a foreign company operating portions of our ports and our defense industry as long as the company is not owned by a foreign government. Correct?

You seem to have a great deal of misunderstanding my posts. My stance has not changed.

Sorry about that, LE. I just figure that when someone states that the security of our country should only be handled by a U.S. company that that would exclude any foreign company, regardless of whether it was privately or publicly or governmentally owned.

So you do have a problem with Doncasters doing U.S. defense work. That's what I thought, LE.

No, my position is still that I don't have a problem with Doncasters doing some of our U.S. defense work.
