My pastor touched on this episode tonite, Obama calling the cop's actios "stupid" before he had all the facts. We all agreed the zero is a hateful racist, and thought Proverbs 18:13 applied to him quite nicely....

He preaches against all manner of sin. Probably why our church is so small. Most Christians wouldn't know a good sermon if they did hear one. At least they wouldn't like it.

Sounds like the bunch of nuts I finally escaped from. These groups survive on taking pride in being "God's Green Berets." They, of course, are small because no one is willing to step up to the job like THEY are. They are full of themselves, but they usually stay small. Most thinking people figure them out and leave. Like I said, God's work isn't for wimps. A lot of folks go to church to have their ears tickled. The bible says that will happen in the last days. We're a very humble church, small building, small membership, but I guess you guys like big, loving & tolerant churches, like the one the zero attended.

 

You just can't help yourself, can you. Arrogance is difficult for these groups to hide. Like you, most of them turn it into something to be admired. It helps hide the sin.
