High School Basketball...

    Since moving to a new community in the Ozarks of Missouri I began attending the high school basketball games for the boys and girls in our town. It has not only been a great opportunity to visit families and get to know people in the community, but it has also just been a great time. I had forgotten how hard they play, and the intensity in a game that is not played for $$, or even to try to get to the NBA. Just playing for the love of the game.

    It even motivated me to remember how much I enjoyed playing basketball growing up and in High School and I have laced up my shoes again and have been playing 2 mornings a week before work with a group of guys in the community. Great exercise, but makes for some sore muscles [​IMG]

    I love the NCAA March Madness with the tournament, but I don't think I will see any better games or harder played games than those I saw right in my community at the local high school gym. Any other High School basketball fans out there? [​IMG]

    I love high School Basketball in Missouri. The Ozarks are nice.

    The teams at my Christian high school won their tournaments. I really enjoyed watching them play.

    My son's school team from Chesapeake, OH, made it again to the state regionals(final 8) for the 5th time, and again, fell in the regionals. But how many schools' teams have made it THAT far in Ohio 5 times?

    Every game was an OUTSTANDING game, no blowouts once they got past the district finals.

    my good friend's "boyfriend"'s team made it to the final four in MO.
