Holding an unBilbical interpretation can prevent one from understanding some other Biblical truth. When this occurs one is not aware of it. An it goes to some other not true presupposition.

Secondary issues. Not matters of salvation.

    Not disagreeing with you…
But please supply support for your conclusion.
    Define “unbiblical interpretations”.
    Provide examples.

We all carry interpretations that are faulty… ‘we see as if in a mirror dimly lit’.

IMO, the Spirit cannot be relied upon to provide believers with the unerring ability to discern proper interpretations, for among even the most holy and learned Christians there are still disagreements.

The fact Christians do disagree on beliefs regarded as secondary issues. There are many to choose from.
Do you know of a Biblical belief you know you do not agree with me on?

    Fair enough.
For example, the belief in the mortality of the human soul versus belief in the unconditional immortality of the human soul.

I agree with this. Sinclair Ferguson and David Powlison have used this analogy (probably got it from someone else). It is like a thread that is part of a garment you are wearing, if you begin to pull on that thread, it eventually affects the structural integrity of the garment, and it pulled long enough, it will unravel the entire garment, and the wearer will be naked.

The examples I can think of are infant baptism, Speaking in tongues as "Initial Evidence", Spiritual perfection, Baptismal regneeration.

Not sure your stand on this - but lets start with it

Tithing - is tithing a New Testament command?
Are we still under the Old Testament tithing requirements?

Tithing was both before the law and understand the law. It can be a good place to start. I believe giving should be done per 2 Corinthians 9:7, ". . . Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. . . ." This is my short answer.

My short answer - looks like we agree at least on this issue!

    Ya.
    [Whole church pastor teachers no.]
Interesting, the Hebrew translated "of the Preacher" is from the feminine. [Used as part of soeach a masculine noun.]

    Holding an unbilical interpretation.

1 Corinthians 1:10, . . . Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. . . .

Grammatical gender is meaningless in this case, as it often is, since it is describing King Solomon.

Maybe secondary issues, maybe matters of salvation.

Presuppositiins are typically based on philosophical views. We are warned not to lean on our understanding and not to be "carried away" by philosophy.

Sometimes a difference is enough to lead to a false gospel that does not save. Sometimes those who accept the error are saved as they are not carried away.

I think of the Catholic Churh. I believe one can be Christian and Catholic, but they are so despite the doctrine. Reformed churche's are the same (they are another version of Catholicism in terms of doctrine). But Reformed Christians are often saved despite the doctrine.

I believe that Christian doctrine is restrictive (more narrow) and existed apart from Catholic doctrine and Reformed doctrine.
