This is not even substantiated by the secular world. They say that about 10% of men are or have homosexual tendency. That number is inflated, but if it is not it surely does not show that homosexuality is a common temptation.

If 10 percent of snakes were two headed, then two headed snakes would be common brother. As Lacy pointed out, homosexuality is a sin, not a condition. Sin usually leads to worse sin. Now that fornication and adultery are almost encouraged by the world, homosexuality is at the door knocking. I think you will see that 10% number start to rise. The bible likens the last days to the days of Lot in Luke. In Sodom, every man in the city came out to "know" their visitors.

If you get on the road that starts with drugs and alcohol, take a left at fornication, your right down the street from homosexuality. Remove the cultural stigma attached to it and watch what happens.

 

Not exactly. The statistic is not of those who have a homosexual tendency, but those who have regularly engages in same-gender sexual activity. The "real time" statistic, however, places it in the 1% to 2% category.

Have you read about the lesbian Methodist "pastor" who was removed from her offices by ONLY A 7 TO 6 VOTE of the governing officials of the methodist organization? A few years back, this thing would never have come to a vote because there wouldn't have been a woman pastor to begin with, let alone a LESBIAN.

Billy Graham once preached a TV sermon for HSs. regardless of your opinions of BG, he was right on the money with this. He reminded HSs that God allows people to be born with other handicaps such as spina bifida, and that HS is just that...a HANDICAP. But GOD didn't make them that way...He allows the devil to work his evil in some people, so, in His perfect justice, the devil cannot say, "You gave me no chance to prove you wrong." However, unlike spina bifida, HS is a SIN. Once the HS realizes it wasn't GOD who made him/her that way, the path is open fot the HS to realize that Jesus WILL forgive the sin of HS & that such a person has the same opportunity to be saved as any other sinner.

He went on to say that the HS who becones a Christian may or may not be "cured"...that he/she may still "have an eye" for the same gender, but he/she will keep it under control same as the HETEROSEXUAL Christian does...in fact the hetero Christian faces more temptation more often than does the homo. God has different burdens for different believers. I believe we all know some very devout Christians who are wheelchair-bound, blind, etc.

At any rate, we should witness to the HS same as to any other sinner, asking the HOLY SPIRIT to speak through us.
