How Did JESUS PRAY???

    PRAIS THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!! The best model of prayer, would be the example of the LORD JESUS HIMSELF,,,, HOW DID HE PRAY WHEN HE WAS ON THE EARTH? AND WHAT WOULD BE HIS MODEL FOR AN ANSWERED PRAYER?? :1_grouphug: IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO GET FEEDBACK ON THESE QUESTIONS.. I THANK YOU...:praying: :jesus: ROSAMARIA..........

    The only way to know how Jesus prayed would be to look at the Bible and see examples of his prayers, such as when he thanked God for bread (when feeding either the 4 or 5 thousand, or both), when he prayed before raising Lazarus, and when he prayed in John 17.

    But what we should pay the most attention to, imo, as far as a model of prayer for us, is when he taught the prayer, "Our Father, who is in heaven," etc. He said that this is how we should pray. I don't think we have to use those exact words, but that prayer is a pattern for prayer - praise, submission to God, petition, asking for forgiveness, and asking for protection.

    Others have put it more eloquently.

    And don't forget John 17, the whole chapter is a prayer of Jesus.
