Just because a person does something in Gods name doesn't prove that God is in it. Just because they see results doesn't mean God is in it. Some men make a carrier out of preaching to make a living, God is their belly, Phil 3:19. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name ? and in thy name have cast out devils ? and in thy name done many wonderful work ? The network is full of tel-evangelist ministers. Jimmy Swaggert has wrote his own commentary on the bible since he has repented on TV. I honestly think that people will be surprised in the day of judgement when the preachers that the world has never heard of will be standing on his right side and the big named, man praised preachers standing on the left.

Ahh, what you apparently do not know about me is that I, unlike some (hint), do not open my mouth and post anything unless it is fact. But why should I accede to your demands considering the tone and content of your posts? I'll not do the "legwork" for one such as you. Do it yourself. The fact is as I have stated.

It's a well known fact that the Billy Graham crusades always sent Catholics back to Catholicism after they were saved. At the time when he spoke with schuller he seemed in control of his facilities. In fact he had just finished a crusade

I was a big admirer of Graham. I had a hard time believing he said what he did. This is old news it happened quite awhile ago. I tried to rationalize it as well but facts are facts. For all intents and purposes he is a universalist and was good friends with the Pope at that time.

I worked for him for seven years and can confirm these things and worse. God had a few believers working there. I was reprimanded or my views of Roman Catholicism and other biblical views I hold too. I also had some great opportunities to share the truth while I was there. They are sucking up to the Mormons now too. When I took over the bookstore in 1996 in Minneapolis the manager before me was selling a book that said that Jesus and John the Apostle had an immoral relationship. Not much discernment in a lot if BGEA then and it's much worse now.

 

My wife just threw out some of his books recently, over some stunt the BG Organization did...a woman scorned I guess....piety, she & her mom used to follow his crusades quite closely & those books were hers.

 

Moody supported the Catholic Church as well.
