It is a good thought, even though it was very generic.

    This thought comes to mind.....

Only one life 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Someone should do a movie-ette on this theme. If I knew how to work my powerpoint, I would.

My husband preached a sermon entitled "What's On Your Dash?" earlier this year and there were many life altering decisions made that day for many people. It really made a lot of people think what they were doing for Christ and what they weren't doing for Christ and how that small dash would represent all of it.

Thanks for posting that PJ :)

Yes, Jim, a little more specific would be nice.
Like the first question in Spurgeons Catechism....Man's Chief End is to Glorify God and t enjoy Him forever.
That is the most important thing at the end of our lives.

PJ, that was GREAT! Don't worry about the nay-sayers, it was very moving and targeted very specific issues that Jesus spoke of.

I've heard a sermon called "The Dash" before and it was good, too.

The specifics are personl to your life, what does He want YOU to be doing. Not what does He want someone else to do.
