I didn't know that/strange things

    In the KJV, the phrase "Thus saith the Lord" appears over 400 times.. and never in the New Testament!... I wonder why?

    Thirty years ago, my pastor preached on the Ehud story.

    His sermon title was "When Lefty Stuck It to Fatty."

    Obviously, that's one message I never forgot.

    As I was studying through the Greek NT, I came across a variant reading of Matthew 27:16-17. Barabbas name was "Jesus Barabbas" and the question asked of the people by Pilate was (paraphrased), "Do you want this Jesus or that Jesus released?"
