I know this is early, but in 2016, who's the front runners?

Unlike Kentucky South Carolina has one very Conservative Senator, DeMint, and one moderately Conservative Senator, Graham. If Graham would break loose from McCain he would be more Conservative.

And then Kentucky has McConnell soon to be replaced by the lovely uber liberal, Ashley Judd.:applause::applause:

Yet the democrats are able to build a winning coalition from very disparate groups. From FDR until post 1964 it was Yankee liberals, Southern democrats, mostly Conservative, Jews, and blacks. Post 1964 it has been liberal white folks, black folks, Latinos, Jews, homosexuals, and welfare cheats!

 

I frequently refer to the Republican party as the stupid party [post 15 above] and they are, but in general I believe Republican politicians are more ethical and moral than democrat politicians. Just consider FDR, Kennedy, Clinton, and possibly LBJ; all adulterers. Then of course there are all the homosexuals that democrats routinely send back to Congress even after they are involved in scandal. On the other hand a hint of scandal about a Republican is usually sufficient for the electorate to reject them. Just consider the two Republican Senatoral candidate's who simply made a stupid remark about rape; rejected!

The Republican party has its faults but they are far more Conservative than the democrat party. Consider the ideology of the democrat party. Starting with Wilson they have shown little respect for the Constitution. FDR rammed through some unconstitutional legislation, just like Obama, and when the Court threw it out he wanted to add six new members to the Supreme Court, all added by him. FDR started the country toward socialism with Social Security, LBJ added Mediscare, don't know who added Medicaid, and Obama took over the health care system with his death panel to hold down costs.

Worst of all is the democrat party is the party of death with its "death panel" and abortion stance. Their recent convention was a celebration of the slaughter of the unborn. Obama is the most rabid abortionist to hold the office f president, yet you find yourself pulling for him; May God have mercy on you and all of us!

 

Right now Governor Christie has the inside track but he is to smart to want the job.

 

Thanks! If memory is correct there was a big fight over Medicare but I don't recall much about Medicaid. Perhaps it is just my age showing!

This is just a guess but based on the last four or five administrations and how they have each led us a bit closer to tyranny and total government I'd have to say Caligula or someone just like him will be a front runner in 2016 but it could be as late as 2020.

I was not voting for a preacher I was voting for a president. Obama is a Socialist/Marxist. The democrat party is a Socialist/Marxist party. Consider the two women that Obama and the democrats put on the Supreme Court; they are as far left as can be without openly admitting to being communists.

The Republican party for all its short comings is far more Conservative than the democrat party. The Republican party platform is strongly pro life. The democrat party worshipped at the altar of slaughtered babies at their convention. They appropriately took the name God out of their platform to the cheers of the delegates; His name certainly does not belong in that pro death document. I have called Islam a religion of death. The democrat party is a party of death with their worship of abortion, their establishment of a "Death Panel" to reduce the cost of Social Security and Medicare, and their embrace of homosexual marriage.

Don't preach to me about the faults of Romney and his religion! In my opinion he stands a far better chance of making it to heaven than the that rabid abortionist who occupies the White House.
