Should the US give up the SW portion of the United States to Mexico in order to solve the illegal immigration problem with our southern border? :)

If it is okay for Israel and not okay for us, please state why. (Some Hispanic political groups claim the land in SW USA was theirs to begin with, just as Palestinians claim Israeli land is theirs.)

I still say round all 12 million up, put them in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanastan, then when they come back, they can have their green card. Otherwise, hit the Rio Grande.

Absolutely no way do we give up land at this time. If we ever have a change in our situation that is similar to the current Israel - Palestine situation I will reconsider my position at that time.

You put 12 million illegals in the river at once and Texas is under water. We've had enough flooding. Why can't they cross over in California?

As for the USA, absolutely not!

At one time England, France, and Spain all claimed various parts of what it is now the USA. Through wars and purchases we have legally acquired what is now our territory. Our claims are more valid than those who were here before us and that includes American Indians as well. Mexicans - who speak Mexican Spanish - obviously are a remnant of Spain's misadventures among the former native Indians of South America. Perhaps they should look to Spain for any grievances they may have. They have no legal claim to Texas or any other State that makes up our nation.

The only acceptable solution for illegal immigration is for all illegal aliens - regardless where they're from - to go back home and for our law to be enforced such that we get to choose which immigrants can come here, for what reasons they can do so, when they can come, and how long they can stay. We have always have a very generous immigration policy to deal with an assortment of valid interests for coming to America but invasion is not one of them. There is no entitled to immigration. Neither are illegal aliens entitled to come here as some are trying to assert by playing of our country's general drift into such thinking or making some silly claim that this was once their land so, therefore, it still should be.

As for Israel, I don't know and consider it a matter for them to resolve although given the choice without further knowledge I would favor Israel.

I hear some of the mexicans at work talk about La Reconquista. Fat chance, there's a few million rednecks that would head down there to help defend those states if needed.

It reminds me of the White Nationalists that want The Cleaver for a "White Haven" (Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon~those four states create a cleaver shape).

People want to take land that belongs to someone else and give it away-what's that all about? Land has to be gotten the old fashion way, either with $ or bullets:laugh:
