    Rush is 100% correct.

If Republicans give Obama the same chance democrats gave Bush, they would start the character assassination immediately.

    They haven't.

The Holder nomination should be defeated. Democrats ran Ashcroft through the mill , but don't want the guy responsible for the pardon of Mark Rich to be discussed. Oh horrors! The very idea that republicans should question his nomination!

Immaturity is the name of the game in this country these days. With the booing of President Bush at the inauguration, this has just reached a higher level. Go to a high school graduation... alot of parents are just as disrespectful as the students... college? Same. And now with this low-brow behavior... what's next? Heckling from the congregation?

Perhaps but you can invest in a new direction...

Example... If your industry goes dry or you are out of a job, you may have to invest in tools, training etc.. and change to a new industry. A lot of times that means borrowing even if just a student loan.

All spending in tough times is not wasteful if it is invested in a new and right direction. So the blanket statements being made are not factual.

This is true. It's become the norm to behave like this - it's an immaturization of the culture, or perhaps we could say a regression.

I too hope that President Obama and his journey away from the failed Bush policies succeeds. I a confident that, in the long run, this will be the case.

Rush felt the pressure and took the time to set the record strait. I'm not the only one who took his statement as odd... The election is over and it's time we get back to being civil and join efforts to better our Nation.

    I agree with Rush.

I don't really like listening to Rush. As a teen my Dad toremented my tree hugging self, laughin like a maniac to Rush playing this sound bite of a chainsaw. I don't suppose I'll ever forget that.

Those who booed should be ashamed of themselves. Bush showed a lot of class---always has, imo. I hope he has a great life!
