The following remark was made to my reply concerning the church:Quote:

    The Christian is.

    "

I had never even implied that the church was four walls with a steeple/ a building, but certainly the church is a building in process.

His error is the "Christian is" the church. No, the Christian is an individual that helps to make up the body of Christ, Christ being the Head, the body made up of many members.

Then he made the slanted attack upon all who will live godly by insinuating those who hold to certain Biblical standards are "white washed tombs" and "full of dead men's bones".

This is probably one of the most prolific and haneous attacks against the body of Christ and against holiness i have seen, yet it is allowed to stand in this environment.

Not only does this speak volumes about the individual, but also relates the all too common mentality found amongst multiple members of BB, some moderators are not excluded.

Why is it so speedily suggested these types of attacks and surmisings against other members?

Nothing "implied" or "veiled" here, so why is it so quickly labeled like this?

Can anyone here really see inside others to make these accusations against the individual who helps to make up the church?

We can all see the lack of concern you have for the impact people like this are having upon the church.:tonofbricks:

Well. at least there is nothing either "implied" or "veiled" in your response here.

You really have no idea of any concern I may or may not have regarding anything, when I have not said something about it, so why do you assume you can read my mind? My response was to the overall tenor of the whole post, not any particular phrase, FTR.

In fact, these are your own words
And from another source, come these words:

What is a worse impact on a church is the rottening corpses in those white washed buildings proclaiming that people who quote Jesus are attacking others...

I agree with Mexdef... I too have seen people rottening on the inside while looking good on the outside....

How do I know they are rotten on the inside...

By the vile they spew out of their mouth...

From the heart man speaks.... right?...

So when you see someone who is always negative...
Always cutting down their brothers and sisters...
Always has to have their way...
Always puts standards above what is morally right...
YOu not only have the perfect Pharisee...

But a person who is whitewashed...

Funny, you use a raising your eyes smiley at the onset and you think that others don't see right through it.

And seeing your use of the roll your eyes smiley speaks volumes you'd like others to ignore.
