    I don't question their sincerity, but I'm just a little bit cautious of any group/individual with ties to the Baptist World Alliance.

    My concern for the BWA is primarily due to their ecumenical tendencies.

    Being buddy-buddy with the RCC isn't something I see as being a positive goal for any Baptist organization.

    I'm sure that the BWA has done some good things, but IMHO their ecumenicity with Rome tends to negate much of their otherwise good things.

    Has ties with the Baptist World Alliance of which the CBF is a part. If you are a progressive liberal and call yourself a baptist (an oxymoron) then such alliances are for you.
