Clinton is like a lot of other moral degenerates.

He's quite charming in person and for short periods of time.

It's only when you're close to him for a while that the nasty temper, lack of morals and total lack of integrity begin to show up.

Europeans only got small doses of him.

It's either that or they like their politicians to be dishonest moral degenerates.

In the final analysis, I don't really give a rip what they think.

Yeah, that figures:rolleyes: You left out his saxaphone playing on your list of faults, BTW.

I start with the premise that all politicians are morally degenerate, almost as a tautology. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when Clinton managed to come up with something vaguely approaching an ethical foreign policy, unlike the current incumbent of the White House.

It's one of his few redeeming qualities.

I understand he likes a good cigar every now and then, as well.

But, I'll leave it to you to decide if that merits praise or disgust.

You call sending ships into warzones unarmed ethical, I call it chicken. I call his sanctions on Iraq murderous. I call his assault on Waco scarier than anything Reagan, Nixon, and Bush & son have done.

I'm glad I served under a real president, Reagan. Seems to me you guys had a real leader for those years, as well.

And refusing to provide armored vehicles for our troops in Somalia, leading to the deaths of 18 of the nation's finest and most highly trained and dedicated soldiers.

Standing by and doing nothing while hundreds of thousands of Kurds were brutally murdered is ethical in the UK?

Why was it okay for Clinton to do something about ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and it was wrong for Bush to do something about it in Iraq? Do all those Iraqi and Kurd lives not really count?

What I see around the world and even here on the BB is a very inconsistent and very inadequate concern for the image of God in man. Some people appear to think that the only lives that matter are the unborn ones, and they don't even matter when the economy is bad.

Clinton's inaction on foreign policy costs hundreds of thousands of lives. That is not ethical. At least when Bush's policy cost lives it was in the process of doing something about it.

they are already nearly as powerful as before, and building fast....

I don't believe that will happen, but they will continue to be more and more of a world focus for hatred..

That's kind of a given....The interesting part to me is what role America plays...IMO, our role will diminish, as it pertains to Israel's defense.

I can't love someone who believes in murdering unborn babies, or that two males or two females should have the right to marry.

So you are saying that you cannot follow Christ's command to love your enemy. To turn the other cheek. To go the extra mile????

While it could be difficult at times to actually love them, we are to do so....But that doesn't mean we shouldn't condemn their sins greatly, and work hard against their sinful lifestyle's legitimization.

Do you want condemnation or your sins, or helpful advise and understanding love?

If I didn't believe I was doing anything wrong, why would I want helpful advice and/or understanding love? Why won't you just love me for who I am, the way I am, the way God made me?

I am sure the Pharasees didn't feel loved when Jesus called them a bood of vipers or tombs. Calling things how you see them is permissable.

The neatest thing about being an American anywhere in the would is that you don't have to care what they think of you.

Just walk softly. They know you carry a big stick. (HT to TR)
