Is taking morphine, demeral, and other pain meds sinful?

    Thank you for your prayers and concern. Everyone who knew about the accident saw GOD PERFORM A MIRACLE. My wife believes God used her to manifest his power, and despite the hardships she had, she thanks Him for choosing her as a vessel for His display of power.

    She uses OTC painkiller occasionally; her strength and endurance isn't what it useta be, but she can carry out normal activities same as before. She keeps a scrip for stronger painkillers just in case...
