You can't be serious. It is still too far from the election and too much can still happen to simply stop campaigning and sit back and wait.

The problem isn't that Palin has new clothes, but the image it gives using donated money. Remember how other politicians in the past have been made fun of for expensive haircuts, etc.

Sure it is fair. Much fairer than most of what Rush and other extreme right wing radio talk show hosts say on their programs.

Why they bought her clothes I don't know, I ahven't been keeping up with any of it. But I did see on tv this morning, her clothes were returned, most of the money refunded, and the rest gone to charity.
As for Obama's spending. I think RD2 is right, if they are claiming victory, anything else is now wasted money, if they actually beleive they have already obtained victory. If they continue to spend it means they don't really beleive it.

 

Well maybe Sarah should wear a man's shirt unbuttoned to mid chest then tied in a knot just above the navel with cut off jeans Hee Haw style. The RNC buys the wardrobe not Sarah, although she surely has a say what she will wear. I think that it is good for any candidate to be presented with a professional wardrobe. The RNC understands this and the wardrobe was never hers to keep. The wardrobe was to be given to charity even before this became a media slur.

In my mind it was a dumb thing to do, they had to know there would be problems, but on the other hand Obomba spends on everything under the sun to make himself look good, how is this different. All the millions are to present the candidate in the best light, thus it is DUMB to say millions on ads are okay but thousands for clothes aren't. :laugh:
