Did he also list any of the moderate Muslim reformers who are trying to reform their faith? How about all those Iraqi Muslims who have died fighting the terrorists? I wonder why not?

I would advise you not to move to India. Nor Algeria for that matter.

I guess all of those Iraqis who are dying while fighting the terrorists are all Christians, right?

No, we are on their side in Iraq.

The question of the day is why Islam has sent terrorists into Iraq to keep people from living in a free society in an area of the world noted for thousands of years of oriental despotism wherein an absolute ruler has presided over a theocracy?

TheReligionofPeace.com notes that there have been 3092 terrorist attacks by Islam since Nine Eleven alone. Judaism is not a source of terrorist attacks and Christianity is not a source of terrorist attacks but there is something in Islam that makes that religion a source of terrorists attacks. And one thing about Islam is that it is a demonic religion with Allah as another name for Satan.

But look at the countries being hit:

Thailand, Israel, India, Afghanistan, Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, Phillipines, Algeria, Bangladesh, USA (Norman, OK), Chechnya, Indonesia, Sudan, Palestine, Denmark, Karbardino-Balk, Lebanon, Kosovo, Egypt, Dagestan, Jordan, Ethiopia, Somalia, UK, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Yemen, Qatar, Scotland, Kuwait, Belgium, Netherlands, and Syria--all in the last year.

The answer is that Islam didn't send them. Islamic extremist terrorists did who hate and despise freedom and don't want to lose their grip on their power.

    1. You are correct that Christianity is not the source of terrorist attacks, although there are some who have claimed to be Christians who have committed horrible atrocities throughout history: KKK, Nazis, Crusaders.

    2. You are correct that Judaism is not the source of terrorism, although there have been examples of Jewish terrorists such as the Kahanist movement and the assasination of Prime Minister Rabin.

    3. You are incorrect that Islam is the source of terrorism. Islamic extremists are the source of terrorism.

"The answer is that Islam didn't send them. Islamic extremist terrorists did who hate and despise freedom and don't want to lose their grip on their power."

And yet we saw massive celebration in the streets at the grass roots level on 9/11 in the Muslim Middle East. And yet we see examples of hate for America spoken on state sponsered tv in Palastine and tought in there school. And yet on several occasions several Muslim nations banded together in unprovoked war with Isreal, and tried to annilate them.

Yes. They are Islamic Extremists and they must be defeated so that peaceful Muslims who want to live in freedom can do so and also so the rest of the civilized world will be safer.

I agree with you there are some moderate voices, but what I described above seems to suggest that the terrorist have won the hearts and minds of alot of the people, perhaps even in a general way.

And I would only point to the Islamic Iraqis who are fighting the terrorists and dying for their freedom to show that there are many who have not had their hearts and minds won by the terrorists and that it has nothing to do with one's religion, and everything to do with a political ideology of fear, tyranny and terror.

Hey, church mouse guy, ...got a question fer ya! I noticed you mentioned Norman, OK in your list. Do you have information that this was related to Islamic extremist terrorism? If so, can you provide any links or references?

Honestly, I have not followed this case much, so I really don't know the conclusions of the motive. I'm not debating here, just looking for info. Thanks.

I'm just not sure about Iraq or their will. I watched on tv today a family complaining about how much better things were before we got rid of Sadam. I am just not sure how much will they have in this fight. They were secular folks, but apparently the chance to be rid of dictators and terrorist was not that valuble to them.

Iraqis are just as diverse as we are in America. I have no doubt after January that the majority of Iraqi people are happy to be rid of Saddam. Never forget that some people benefited greatly from Saddam being in power and they are probably unhappy that they don't have him there. This does not mean they represent the majority of Iraqis.

    I agree with Joseph.

I would like to add something else. The news media always tries to find a story which is "shocking", to do this the story is not always the majority. You cannot "shock" and "interest" the majority of your viewers if you run material that simply shows the beliefs of the majority. Besides, since when have you seen the media, in general, side with military actions. They enjoy their freedoms, but they easily forget how many died to give us those freedoms.

Obviously, as Joseph pointed out, many in Iraq must be for free elections or they would not be giving their lives to become policemen or other "targets" of the insurgents.

I was hoping that people in Oklahoma would know more than Hoosiers do. I have a link from World Net Daily--this story is being dismissed from the media probably because it was such a close call. It seems to be a clear case of Islamic terrorism.

    http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=46640

    +++

On the subject of nazis and KKK, it is amazing that they are blamed on Christians. The nazis hated Christianity, tore crosses off churches, executed clergy, and abolished Christmas shortly after taking power. As for the KKK, they burned the cross, a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.

Christianity condemns murder, including self-murder, and that is the reason that Islam is a source of terror and Christianity is not.

It could be that many poor people are oppressed by Islam and would like to get out from underneath that demonic system wherein Satan poses as Allah. However, that theological system is currently spawning terrorist attacks worldwide on a daily basis.

You're right, cmg, and I tire of the same old comparison which really isn't a comparison at all. But we must try to defend Islam at any cost, it seems, to be politically correct - even here on the BB. Please don't confuse us with facts. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, if you know what I mean.

Islam IS a religion of peace. If you don't conform and submit to Islam, you will rest in peace.
