Make no mistake – there is now a state of open warfare on the streets of America. Earlier this year it was being reported that the number of police officers killed on the job was up 40 percent in 2014, and that was before all of the civil unrest caused by the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. At this point, attacks on police officers are becoming a frequent occurrence all over the country, but no incident has stunned the nation as much as the “execution-style” murder of two NYPD officers on Saturday by a radical Islamic gunman identified as Ismaaiyl Brinsley. Just prior to the attack, Brinsley posted a message on Instagram in which he declared that he was “putting wings on pigs today”. Many would like to dismiss this as an “isolated incident” and pretend that everything is just fine in America, but that is not the truth. The reality of the matter is that anti-police sentiment in this country is at an all-time high, and the level of anger and frustration in our increasingly radicalized urban communities has reached a boiling point. As economic conditions continue to deteriorate and police tactics become even more brutal in the years ahead, the kind of rioting, looting and senseless violence that we witnessed in Ferguson is going to become commonplace in major cities all over the United States.

The mainstream media and many national leaders on the left end of the spectrum have been stirring up strife and division for months on end. So now a toxic environment has been created which is inevitably going to lead to even more violence. At some recent “protest marches”, we have heard demonstrators enthusiastically chant extremely threatening slogans such as this: “What do we want? Dead cops!” And when news broke that Ismaaiyl Brinsley had brutally murdered two NYPD police officers, lots of very twisted people on Twitter were actually celebrating.

At last an OP with some validity! I had in mind an OP on a conspiracy theory by Obama, Holder, Al Sharpton, Mayor Deblazo and other assorted leftists to initiate racial strife in the country. It appears it was not just a theory!

Why sure. So long as the fickle finger of "conspiracy theory" is pointing at the lefties it has "validity".

If it points in the other direction it's time for the monkey playing a Stratocaster to take center stage.

poncho, poncho, poncho as you showed in your OP this conspiracy is no longer theoretical but factual. Big difference!

You started another thread about Time, a left wing rag, accusing the right wing militias of being the real threat to police. Didn't take time to read it!

Meanwhile lil ole poncho says: "Ain't it fun!"[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Factual? C'mon this is me you're talking to. You only like facts and evidence when they go your way OR. Case in point the conspiracy theories of "Russian aggression" and the "Russian invasion" of Ukraine that you and your compadres alleged time and again but could never prove with actual facts and evidence. In those instances you relied on the word of a known serial liar and the "liberal" media that protects him!

    Factual.

I don't know about all that but I do know that this here monkey plays a Telecaster. TWANG!

It's been done. They sound fine. The twang is in the string scale.

Not long ago I put Danelectro lipstick tube pickups in a Tele. Cool super duper Dano-Tele Twangamundo!

I wonder if playing a Tele makes me a radical right wing extremist? I wouldn't doubt it.

No as usual you are not right.

You got the propaganda down pat but unfortunately it doesn't align with the facts and evidence.

Crimea wasn't "annexed". 90% of the people voted to join with Russia. In what used to be America we called that "democracy" in action. In "Neoconica" or today's America when a foreign country doesn't vote the way Washington thinks it should it's called a "coup" or something else.

The word annex is defined thus . . . "add (territory) to one's own territory by appropriation". The word appropriation is defined . . . "the action of taking something for one's own use, typically without the owner's permission".

So as you can see, well maybe not you but thinking people who base their opinions on actual facts and evidence can see that the word "annexed" doesn't apply in this situation. Since the people (90%) of Crimea voted to join Russia voluntarily can only mean that Crimea was not taken without the owner's permission.

The Russians in Crimea were there by treaty. Up to 25,000 of them were allowed to be there. That's not an "invasion". Unless you're writing the account in newspeak.

You mentioned something about "factual" earlier. I thought maybe you and I might have the same definition for it. Well, after reading this post I can see your idea of "factual" is vastly different than mine.

In my world "facts" come with documented evidence that anyone can look at and observe for themselves. Evidently in your world "facts" are bits of propaganda and spin that align with your prejudices that you cannot find supporting evidence to show others so instead you release the monkey to distract and deflect. A tactic any third or fourth grade school kid would use when caught making up stories with no foundation in fact.

You see my very good friend, you cannot find any "facts and evidence" to support your theory of a "Russian invasion" because there are none. You've been lied to again by the liar in chief and the liberal media.

Long story short . . . you was neoconned again. And there's nothing you and your little furry pet can do to change that fact.

    So here's a sad song for you . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPlhKP0nZII

    Merry Christmas!

The pattern of government/media war propaganda replacing the truth goes way back beyond any of this.

Hearst was quite good at manipulating public opinion in favor of war. The ghost of Hearst and his "yellow journalism" lives on!

That is what I am saying--Venezuela, Cuba, Russia--the press just isn't telling the truth and Poncho has not seen any evidence that anything is amiss with Maduro, Fidel and Raul, and Vladimir. And it is a waste of time to post on the truth about commies. Politics makes strange bedfellows--I'd be afraid to close my eyes around those kind, Poncho. Wish you the joy of the worm, as the servant said when he took the poisonous snake to Cleopatra.

You're hitting the eggnog kind of early aren't ya?

I've seen plenty of evidence of what is wrong in Venezuela, Cuba and Russia.

That doesn't mean our only choice is to effect regime change and kill a bunch of people in those countries and possibly open them up to even worse horrors than what they have now like "we" did in Iraq, Libya and Syria. It aslo doesn't mean we should encourage the knuckleheads in Washington to put us in more danger by poking a nuclear armed Russian bear in the eye with a sharp stick till it defends itself to justify another needless war.

More interventionism is not the only answer. Maybe you haven't noticed but our attempts at regime change leave the nations we're "trying to liberate" to use a term from the newspeak world in shambles and have been a bunch of absolute failures that have cost thousands maybe even millions of lives and billions if not trillions of dollars.

I thought the term conservatism meant being conservative as in conserving. Wasting trillions of dollars in never ending wars and starting new wars every month financed by going even deeper into debt is not conservative.

    It's insane.

Now you can blame the left all you want but the fact is both parties are quick to demonize, isolate and do the regime change boogey in any country that doesn't submit to Washington's interests ($$$) and self proclaimed "authority" over everyone else's business. We have no peace party in these United States. We have two war parties. The only things they agree on is that we need more wars, more debt, bigger more intrusive government and that the American voter is to stupid to understand what's best for us.

What Washington is doing today in other countries (regime change) is no different than what Russia was doing during the cold war. Washington just has better propagandists in the corporate media to cover up it's imperial designs now than Russia ever did.

You two guys keep telling us all how Obama cannot tell the truth and how the liberal media covers for him and distorts the truth about everything. Which I agree with. But then you turn around and swear he is preaching the gospel about Russia and how the liberal media neither one of you trust is giving us the straight truth on a stack of bibles after they've been caught lying through their teeth about practically everything from Obama Care to Benghazi and the IRS scandal.

But now all of a sudden they are the bastions of truth and honesty in white robes when their narrative fits your cold war paradigm!

That's a 180 degree turn from all you two have here to fore claimed to believe.

How can you reconcile this complete mental turn about? With evidence?

Where is it? I've been asking both of you for months to provide it. So where is it?

Is it hidden in the monkey's guitar case perhaps?

You are the only one tilting at the windmill of regime change, Poncho. That is a straw man of your own manufacture. You criticize even posters who stand up against Maduro, Fidel and Raul, and Vladimir. Politics makes strange bedfellows.

Oh here we go again. CMG making false allegations and creating his own strawman to burn.

Please show us all the posts in which I have "criticized" you or anyone else for "standing up to" Maduro, the Catros and Putin.

    In short . . . PROVE it!

You won't and I know why. Because 1. It's a lie. 2. It's another one of your own strawmen. 3. The only thing I have criticized is the un American foreign policy of "isolationism", "regime change" and failed military interventions and, 4. You already know that you can't find any evidence to refute what I've been saying or you would have posted it all over the board along with dozens of silly images and GIFs of people dancing around and making funny faces.

So far all either of you have been able to find (and it's been months now) is the silly images and GIFs to plaster all over the board.

This is getting to be old hat with you two. You can't refute the facts and evidence so you toss out more unfounded allegations and accusations. Hey cue the monkey!

[IMG] Because you're just shooting blanks.

You admit that you criticize a series of things, which are what you usually accuse others of. I personally do not recall your ever being critical of Fidel and Raul, Maduro, or Vladimir the shirtless. Anyway, please don't bother to answer as I have said all that I am going to say to you on this thread. As a Baptist, I reject the communist dictatorships and prison states of Venezuela, Cuba, and Russia.
