With the continued anarchy and contempt being displayed by those who want to be portrayed as innocent victims of a war they didn't create, I see a world that has slowly relinquished the letter of the laws of their land; succumbing to the far, far, far far left bleeding heart liberals, who are willing to destroy what was once established (laws pertaining to immigration and granting of asylum) to protect those very nations and its people.

I firmly believe that if these refugees were to put as much effort into helping to toss ISIS from their homelands as they are in escaping their homelands, the war with ISIS may already have been won!

If America were to be besieged by ISIS, I can guarantee you that the American people would rise up and fight the enemy where they stand. Sure there may be some who flee to the north or south, but the majority of Americans would never go without a fight. That attitude and determination should be part of the character of these so-called refugees. That attitude and determination should be part of the character of these so-called refugees. Instead we see faint heartedness and the opportunity to get what they believe will be a better life!

As I said in another comment, if those who pack and run from their own homeland, what makes Germany or any other European nation think these people would fight to protect the very people who have generously opened their homeland for them to resettle in?

That is of course my opinion, and I am sure I will be slammed by some of you for not having a heart of empathy! However, I see these refugees using a bad situation as a "get out of jail-free card," as they trample the borders and laws of their neighboring countries in order to get a free hand up!

They are all heading to Germany because they believe Germany has the best welfare state and the wealth to back their run for the borders! What does that say about their true motivations?

Listen to what they are saying, "Germany has become the land of opportunity in the eyes of thousands seeking refuge from war zones. Migrants trapped at Budapest’s central station this week, hoping to catch a train out of Hungary, erupted in spontaneous chants of “Germany, Germany.” http://www.wsj.com/articles/refugees-find-a-mostly-smooth-welcome-in-germany-1441370296

Easy to make wide-reaching judgements about this group of people from the safety of California.

If that is all that you can see of the situation, you deserve criticism.

I could care less about their policies! Or for that, the dumbness of any nation allowing themselves to be invaded! I live through this kind of invasion here in America, Rolf, so I have a right to say what I think! As do you! Hold that right close to your heart my brother, a lot of men and women died to guarantee you that freedom!

You would have citizens armed with rocks fight soldiers with weapons and tanks.

Are you itching for a war? You would have these refugees fight ISIS, and failing that you criticize them because you say they won't fight for their new adopted country.

Hmmm... I see it as a "keep my family alive" action.

Well, thank heavens they're going to Germany for welfare and not to steal jobs!

Funny, when I think of the word opportunity I think of jobs, not welfare. Maybe these folks want to go to Germany because it is the strongest economy in Europe and they can get a job there. Why do you always assume the worst about immigrants?

Mathew 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

I believe it was Patton who said, "don't die for your country; make your enemy die for his." (paraphrased)

Lesson being: if I die for my home, who's left to protect my family?

In Ephesians 5-6, where do I see a place called home given the same -- or higher -- priority than my wife, children, or others?

Sorry, RD; you're off base on this one.

    SNIP

Every now and then it's good to remind folks that 95% of the world's population lives outside of the United States so it's really easy from the comforts and safety of the United States to sit back and say what immigrants over there should or should not be doing.

If he were to go spend some time in one of their camps, he would find that they are not any different from folks here who are trying to survive and take care of their families.

But God forbid that the folks who say they follow The Great Provider show a little bit of compassion and empathy for the poor and those in need.

Just another reason why certain "brands of Christianity" that really aren't very Christian have such a poor reputation. Also is perhaps a reason why folks look to the government instead of the church.

The Church should be known for its love.

    Matthew 5:43-48New International Version (NIV)

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’

44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?

47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Who's war zones are they trying to escape? Let's see WE destroyed Iraq and created the division that allowed the rise of Al Qaeda there, WE divided and destroyed Libya and handed it over to Al Qaeda, WE'RE allies with the Turks and Saudis and Qataris and it's their governments that have been protecting ISIS supply lines and funding them. Now WE"RE over there funding, arming and training more "moderate rebels" to join in the "regime change boogey".

John McCain went over to play nice and pose for pictures with the "moderate rebels" who defected to ISIS after WE and OUR allies funded and armed them in the hopes they'd do OUR dirty regime change work. I don't remember you questioning any of that other than repeating party talking points.

Now you want to blame it all on the liberals and bash the people fleeing for their lives from OUR war zones?

What's that say about your motivations? It's a sad, sad sad sad world when WE can cause all these problems for others and then refuse to own the problems WE created by blaming them on someone else.

:applause::applause: It's crazy how quickly people forget. We try to act like we had nothing to do with what's going on any place else in the world just because 10, 15, 20 years pass and we have another bunch of people at which to point fingers.

That's because WE"RE a nation of cowards. WE used to believe in freedom, now WE just duck and pray the terrorists WE helped create don't get us before the government does.

If you do not understand, then it is futile to explain. The meaning is very obvious.
