    I want to use this just as a poll for a thread that just started to see where BB stands on the sin issue on Christ, even the silent one's.

    The only sins attributed to Jesus were the ones He took upon His flesh, nailing them to the cross. He, Himself in the flesh, was sinless, spotless, blameless, pristine, perfect, righteous, and unblemished.

    I liked the way Archangel put it, "He was and is impeccable".

    As an english person I can see your point, but for people like me, you would be in the wouldn't catagory the couldn't is the impeccable category.

    The could is the peccable catagory.

    I just wanted a poll someone else probably could of made better choices for the choices.

    Option

    I would like everyone to participate in the poll, if you have one of the selection.
    He wouldn't = He could but would not

    He Couldn't = impeccable

    He could = peccable

    or the last one choose and be prepared for the worst. The last one i had to think of a fouth choice.

    I don't want to influence anyone with my choice so will make mine at the end of the poll or it looks like it is finished

    The poll is not set up properly as it allows for only one answer.

    He couldn't as God.
    He wouldn't as man.

    The question I am tryng to use for the poll is mainly for the flesh and soul of Jesus with the Spirit of God residing in Him. Is there any on BB who think that the Spirit of God can sin?

    Little help here...

    If he wouldn't sin, doesn't the resultant conclusion lead that he couldn't sin (God contradicting himself and all)? I mean if he would never choose to sin, then for all intents and purposes he could not sin.

    Wouldn't is to me to have a choice to sin or have the ability and wouldn't and couldn't is not to have the ability at all to sin. Couldn't is like can't. Couldn't is like me jumping off the building to fly but can't. Wouldn't is like a bird who can fly but chose not to.

    Maybe i should of ask someone to set up a poll it looked good to me when i created it.

    But if you say Jesus' choice would ALWAYS be to never sin, then isn't that basically affirming that he can't? Otherwise, he would be contradicting himself and his decisions previously made.

    I think the question could be better suited if it was asked in the affirmative rather than the negative. Instead of saying Jesus could not/would not sin, you could put it simple, "Was it possible for Jesus to sin?" or something similar. Or maybe that doesn't help at all. Thoughts???

    Let's put the question in this manner.

    Did he have the authority, the ability and or the power to NOT

    become obedient unto death, even the death of the cross?

    If the answer is yes-----Y--therefore he could have but did not.

    If the answer is no------

    Jesus FAR MORE than just a man with the Holy Spirit dwelling in Him!

    That makes him same as we are today if saved...

    He was/is God in human flesh, God adding the humanity of jesus Christ...

    Not co mingled/blended, but 100% God 100% man!

    Wouldn't

    Wouldn't be as He could of did what Adam did, but did not and wouldn't. That the flesh and soul was given a life to Himself and could of made choice apart from the Holy Spirit. That this is the way Adam was created and failed the same way as Jesus is when He was put in the world and won. That in Adam we die, and in Christ we win because of Him and what He did.

    We can't see Him that way for most see Him successful to see Him fail is imposible to see because He didn't, but that does not mean He couldn't to those who believe He wouldn't sin instead of couldn't.

    Those who believe in this post in that He couldn't than they believe it is impossible for Him to sin those who say He wouldn't believe He could but wouldn't.

    Wouldn't= could, but wouldn't

    Couldn't=impeccable

    could=peccable

    I am trying to make the poll as simple as i can?

    I am trying to show both sides of this subject without misrepresenting them, so they can be open to make the choice in the poll, and not make them out to be heritic and afraid to answer the poll

    Possible to be tempted, Impossible to ever sin!

    Jesus

    If Jesus did sin when tempted, He wouldn't be who He said He is, ultimatly that would be true. That doesn't change the view of those who believe He couldn't or wouldn't does it?

    What do you think wouldn't group to?

    He cannot sin, not He wouldn't sin.

    Even though He was incarnate, He still could not sin. He was still 100% God while He was man.

    To say otherwise is to drag God down to mans level, and to show a lack of understanding of His nature.

    God as "God" cannot sin.

    Neither can "God as man."
