The Supreme Court announced Monday it will not give further consideration to a lawsuit brought by a fired CIA agent and her husband against high ranking Bush Administration officials including former Vice President Dick Cheney......

..........The couple sued seeking unspecified financial damages but their lawsuit was dismissed by a federal trial court judge. That decision that was upheld last year by an appellate court. Monday's ruling by the Supreme Court, made as usual without comment, leaves the lower court rulings in place.

Good. Time for Valerie & her liar husband to disappear into irrelevance, where they belong.

Nice way to talk about people who have served their country. You don't have any proof they lied.

My pastor served, and you called him a KKK member without any proof. Knock off the morality patrol.

Given the things that you have said on this board about President Bush and other Republican politicans and their appointees - you are hardly speaking from a position of moral authority - to put it mildly.

Perhaps M.P. is trying to ruin another thread by turning it into a P.A. contest. Touchy subject, don'tcha know,,,,,

Your pastor's remarks (as reported by you) were the basis for the comment. Did you misrepresent him?

Did the Plains serve in the military?

And is military service the only way to serve our country?

And now you are impugning those who serve in the reserves?

My son in-law is currently serving his second deployment in Iraq.

    Crawl back under your rock.

Well Plame and her husband Joe made a lot of money. I have always believed that there is a rogue element in the CIA which leaked state secrets to the NY Times during the Bush years. Furthermore, the CIA knew that no law had been broken in the outing of Valerie Plame. If the law had been broken they would have had to refer her husband Joe for prosecution since he outed her to boost his ego; a real slime ball. Instead someone in the CIA referred the case to the Justice department which whimped out and appointed a special prosecutor. The rest is history. Scooter Libby got the shaft and Fitzgerald enhanced? his rep.

You can slither back into your hole. You miss the point.

No, military is not the only way. And the reserves are honorable. What is not is using influence by your daddy to not go to war in Vietnam.

I can only go by the words that you choose to use. Let's look at them.

"Did Bush serve....oh yeah...Poppa got him in the reserves, where he has a questionable record. Right!! "

Did Bush serve? - Question asked - fair enough.

Poppa got him in the reserves. - Answer provided "yes, in the reserves".

Right!! - MP's conclusion "serving in the reserves is not really serving"

Now go back under your rock.

I am not surprised that you are unable to grasp points. It is so typical of your behavior. Until you can engage in dialogue that involves anything other than black and white erroneous conclusions, you should go back in your hole and quit making a fool of yourself.

Now lets analyize these words of yours.

Serving in the reserves is serving but apparently serving in the reserves as an alternative to regular Army is not - according to MP.

Are you finding the direct sunlight to be a little uncomfortable?

No, but the evidence is plenty and you know it. There is lots of smoke around this fire. For example, from HERE:
Critics say that the Bushes pulled rank, but there is no firm proof of this. It is clear, however, that whether or not he demanded it, Mr. Bush got special treatment because he was a Congressman's son.
Mr. Bush not only was admitted to a program with a long waiting list but also was promoted to second lieutenant without going to officer candidate school and jumping through the normal hoops. Likewise, he was given pilot training despite his lack of aviation experience.
The Air National Guard was virtually made up of sons of the Who's Who in Texas. It was sometimes called the Champagne Unit, and among its members were sons of two other prominent Texas politicians, Mr. Bentsen and John B. Connally, and several wealthy Texas businessmen.

That's ok. Others here can read your words as well.

They too can detect you meaning as well as I am able no doubt.

Your ignorance of the situation is amazing. As I served both active duty and reserve, I would never disparage honorable service.
