    That was sad indeed. Maybe some of the other players will now have pause before they fill their bodies with that steroid junk.

    I am hoping the stros played this last game just for him.

    Sad to see. From the article, it looks like perhaps blaming steroids may be looking in the wrong direction.

    Anyways, he was the best third baseman in baseball for two solid years, led the Padres to the world series, and 8 years later, he dies.

    Toxicology reports are due in about 1.5 weeks.

    I was just thinking that maybe the steroids had some sort of long term effect on him maybe coupled with a heart defect that he didn't know he had.

    Course it could also have been any number of things, even stress due to the latest news about him, personal stuff, etc. My mom had a ha when she was 43 and they said her's was just stress related. Boy did she have a whopper!
