If you are a country that harvests organs from prisoners, or has a state mandated abortion program, I'm sure it makes perfect sense.

I wonder if the PETA folks will try and boycott China now?

Responsible dog ownership means either having your dog vaccinated or having a titer done if previously vaccinated to see if he/she is still protected.

I read where they eat aborted fetuses, too. Don't know if that is true. Some say yes, some say no.

But I do know they execute prisoners (Christians, too) for harvesting their organs to sell on the black market. They also skin dogs and cats for their fur. The USA has outlawed buying products from China that contain real dog and cat fur.

All of this while bearing in mind that China was granted PERMANENT TRADE STATUS under President Bush (January 2002) and our Congress. That means, their status doesn't come up for review and renewal as it did before attaining Permanent Status, all the while this administration and congress were fully aware of China's horrific human rights violations. Sad.

OK - be fair. Pres Geo Bush & congress really were distracted in Jan 2002.

OK - does killing 50,000 pets help eradicate rabies?
