UPLIFTING MESSAGE FOR A GOOD CAUSE (Washington-AP) -- In the spirit of the late hero Todd Beamer, who died in the crash of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania on September eleventh last year, the Let's Roll bus tour has been moving across the country. It's promoting a C-D recorded to benefit the Todd M. Beamer Foundation. It's called Let's Roll: Together in Unity, Faith and Hope. Tony McAnany, who'd been a close friend of Beamer, wrote most of the songs. He says they are designed to empower youth to deal with the stresses in their life. Proceeds are are going to the foundation, and the tour has been engaging in good works along the way. They've given Christmas gifts for kids at an Arkansas hospital, visited a safe house for abused women in Texas bringing gifts from pots and pans to blankets and sheets, and delivered clothes to the homeless of Pittsburgh.
