I was wondering if there are any other Linda McKechnie fans out there. She is a talented pianist who combines hymns and classical music in amazing harmony.

Well, at least that makes 2 of us! [IMG]

I've enjoyed her CDs Hymn Works and Praise Works.

Of course, she comes from a rather musically talented family. Her brother is Don Marsh (i.e., the founder of the Don Marsh Orchestra).

She's also ventured into other "international" musical genres.

Personally, I'm waiting for her to blend Celtic music with her piano renditions. [Hey, my family came from Scotland...What can I say? [IMG] ]

Actually, that shouldn't be too hard for her to do for at least two reasons: 1) Many of our early hymn tunes came from Celtic music, and 2) McKechnie isn't exactly a non-Celtic name, now is it? [IMG]
