Looking for info on the Southern Baptist School of Biblical Studies, J'ville, Fla.

    I've got a friend considering the Soughern Baptist School of Biblical Studies, Jacksonville, Florida and asked me if I knew anything about them. I don't. Any information or recommendations?

    What program is your friend considering?

    The "school" seems to be a distance learning only school such as Andersonville. They do offer selected courses, taught by local pastors, at various churches in their area. See their FAQ page for further information on how the school operates.

    I don't know where your friend lives or anything like that but there are some other schools he/she may wish to consider:

    Knox Theological Seminary

    Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary Tampa

    There are also external programs offered at Luther Rice, Liberty, and Southern Evangelical.

    Dallas Theological Seminary has a campus in Tampa, Florida.

    They offer Dallas Seminary's MA/Biblical Studies.
