    Frogman, thank you for the response. I respect your answer very much so. But I would like to hear from Lady Eagle since she is the only one who really knows her reason for displaying a foreign flag. She has the courage to attack fellow americans..............I would like to see her have the courage to answer fellow americans and canadian guests(who by the way admire and greatly respect your great country) on this issue. I call this courtesy.

    Regarding flags.......

    I think there's more flags flying at the UN..... if one is into flags.

    At the China to US meet, the WH preplanned to fly the Chinese flag at the capital. The Mexican flag flys in Kansas City. 5 Flags fly over Pensacola...... especially at festivial time. The "Christian" banner or flag, is hoisted or posted in many churches. Some people hang a flag out side their door. Those flags resemble many different things: Some do look like the flag of a country...... but some just look like a colorful windcatcher.... like a bird or a flower in primary colors appliqued on a white background.

    Now I am disturbed: I wonder what country those flags belong?

    You are failing to understand that her reasons do not have to be explained to anyone, NO-ONE. Not to me, not to you, NOT to anyone on BB nor in any part of this WORLD.

    If you understood courtesy you would understand that simple truth. It is amazing to me. I went to college and received a good LIBERAL arts education in which they taught me that America is hated in the world because unlike other peoples we have no humility, we will not even 'que' up.

    Come on, drop this. You are wiser than this. You know Lady Eagle nor anyone else here for that matter is obligated to explain anything to you nor any of us.

    Just leave it. You are obviously engaging a personal vendetta, you claim it to be a joke, well the joke is over and the vendetta is revealing itself. If it is not a personal vendetta, then end it.

    Six Flags is great...have had a lot of fun there.

    Scarlett O.......by the way saw Gone With the wind the other day for the Umpteenth time.......I still cry everytime I see Atlanta burn............

    I repect your answer as well......I fully understand it all about Israel....and fully support it.........But I still would never ever carry another flag over the Canadian flag.

    First of all, yes i do get ticked when my threads are locked for no good reason except for the fact that an extreme right wing moderator doesn't like it when more moderate people say something that makes sense.

    Secondly, there are two major issues here.

    1. loyalty to country-your not loyal, in my books, when you carry a flag of another country
    2 When someone likes to dish out dirt against fellow americans(thats right dirt) and doesn't have the courage to respond to a simple question.

    If you understand the IN..... SL..... an avatar is an avatar. They are chosen for different reasons... and some just because no one is using them so they are distinctive. You may sometimes see pictures..... but are they of the person? a child? younger or with more hair than current? or one taken off of the internet from another site.

    What I AM concerned about is YOU!

    Do you realize that you open discussions about nothing important or significant, and then persist in keeping 'nothing' going?

    Why?

    If you're just a lonely ole' fellar..... and invalid or lacking mobility and in need of someone to talk to....... why not just fess up..... and then enter some discussion which either you have something to contribute or some questions about.

    However, in forums such as this.... it is common courtesy to keep subjects close to the content and focus of the forum (in this case POLITICS), and not to ask or expect personal disclosure...... and most especially not to demand. Every member has the right, privilege, and safety of privacy..... so it is offensive to see any member make demands that another member answer or disclose any information which could be personal. Now, if you wish to tell us your personal stories..... in a section on this board where such may be appropriate.... on in the context of a thread where your experience has relevance.... then that's your business and what you're comfortable with.

    Lastly...... I AM concerned with your obsessing over a board member and moderator. You may not realize that it is easy to think that your obsession is questionably pathological..... and therefore a cause of concern to some of us.

    Repeatedly, in this thread, different ones have responded to you.....
    certainly enough to both keep you entertained or encouraged in your pursuit of attention......
    But you keep returning to your one theme..... regarding focus on a specific person.

    You may have a serious problem.

    I have decided to lock this topic as it goes against forum rules(that is attacking seal hunters north of the 49th parallel). Anyone caught reopening this thread will have their membership prevlidges(how do you spell this?) suspended till eternity. This is now locked

    Thanks for admitting that you are ticked off because your thread was closed.

    Surely you don't believe that you are the only person to have their words cut off on a message board.

    I've had my own words edited, deleted, moved to the men's private forum where I had no access, and criticized HARSHLY ....... on more than one board!! :laugh: One learns not to obsess over it. I learned the hard way, but I learned it.

    Actually, your complaints are neither issues nor are they major.


    Lady Eagle is not "carrying" a flag of another country. She is showing her support of Israel who she deems as a friend. Her loyalty to the United States in not in question by her avatar.

    My avatar is a cat with a crown. Does it make me a crazy cat lady or a animal worshipper or any other deviant-hearted person? One could make a case for it, but it's just an avatar.

    Your question was not a question. It was an accusation. And it was not simple.

    And you can call her a coward all day long, but it only puts YOU in a bad light, not her.

    It isn't cowardice to not speak to someone attacking you verbally. Sometimes it's just class and common sense.

    Once more time.....the last time. NO ONE thinks ill of you or laughs at you merely because she closed your thread. Whether she closed it rightfully or wrongfully. NO ONE thought anything about it.

    Everyone else is too self-absorbed with their OWN posts.

    I wasn't attacking the seal hunters. Those are the native people of the area. I was attacking the liberal Canadians that came in and took over the area from the natives. The Canadians came in and forced their fascist views on those natives. What about those natives? Do you make them show your pitiful maple leaf as well? What about their freedom of speech and expression?
