Major earthquake & tsunami hits Japan and Pacific seaboard

    Story here. Let's get praying, people. You guys on the west coast USA, please let us know you're ok as the day goes on*. A 30' wave is actually higher than a lot of inhabited Pacific islands....

    * Tsunami is due to hit Alaska 4-5am local time

    It is a huge earthquake, it would have been terrifying for the locals....I wonder how long it lasted.....will be praying for the affected folks and the tsunami/s that roll out.

    AP reports that tsunami warning now extended to entire US West Coast...

    Our BB member -John of Japan is fine. They felt it but are okay.

    I've just been reading John's account on the Missions board - glad he's OK but prayers needed for the people he mentions there.
