And now for the first time in 15 years my Cincinnati Bearcats get to play the Kentucky Wildcats. Its a big deal here, especially in my family because my Mom and her side of the family is from Clay County, Ky. I just wish it would have happened a few years earlier when we had a true point guard. Cincy dominated Iowa and Kentucky didnt look to sharp against EKU. But it "dont meen nothin." Thats what makes this tournament the best thing in sports.

Yeah Kentucky struggled today....but the way this tourney goes, they could still make a run and win it all...although I highly doubt it.

My picks - Illinois, Georgia Tech, U Conn, Duke

My wifes picks - Arizona, Washington, North Carolina, Kentucky (she doesn't follow basketball and only fills out a bracket to humor me, I will let you know who ended up picking more winners)

My UTEP Miners lost a close one to Utah, oh well I guess we will go at in Conference USA next year!

Bucknell beat Kansas. Now, I don't know too much about basketball, but when #14 beats #3, I think that might be an upset. Where is Bucknell anyway?

While you're finding that out I think I'll point out Vermont to my beloved Orangemen. "Someone call an amubulance. We've got 5 men choking over here?!"

Lewisburg, Penn. It originally was a Baptist school, BTW.

I think Syracuse, the Big East Tourney Champ, loosing in the first round is just an indicator that the Big East was not as strong as some thought this year, and def not as strong as the last couple years. The ACC are 5-0 right now in the tourney, nailing down that they are the best conference this year.

Hmmm...let's see how my sleeper teams are doing.

Bucknell beats #3 seed Kansas while West Virginia beats #2 seed Demon Deacons (Servants of Satan). (I often wondered if any Christians played for that team).

That's a good question for this board.

Let's say you were a great high school player and Wake Forest was reqruiting you. Could you sign for that team if other schools were also offering you a scholarship? I know I wouldn't.

The Wake Forest and West Virginia game was a classic.....

I would have no problem playing for Wake Forest, I do not think that would be a part of my decision process.

I think the Big 10 has something to say about who's the best conference. The ACC is 8-2 and the Big 10 is 6-2 and both conferences have 3 teams in the Sweet 16.

It's interesting that the traditional Big East powers are out and Nova and WVU(!) are the 2 that are left. Syracuse's biggest problem was running into a kid who dropped 20+ on them after averaging 5 a game in the season.

When putting together a bracket, Syracuse, Arizona and Kansas have to be the toughest picks to make, because you never know whether they'll make a Final 4 run, or be a 1st round flameout. Aggravating teams.

I have come to this post a little late but I will still make my picks.

Illinois, Louisville, Michigan State, and Kentucky. I think Illinois will beat Michigan State. But I'm not the most knowledgeable about college basketball.

I must say that the Big 10 overall has really impressed and shocked me. I knew that Illinios was a great team...but Michigan State and Wisconsin have been pretty impressive as well. Another great tournament! I have enjoyed watching West Virginia and I think I am pulling for them!

The Big Ten is always looked down on, yet they always have teams that make big runs in March.

I grew up in Big 10 country and graduated from a Big Ten school, Indiana. I love Big 10 basketball....but I think many years the Big 10 has not been in the top 2-3 conferences in the country. But this year they are showing the country that they are a top conference. There could be 3 teams from the Big 10 in the Final Four.

GO GREEN!!! GO GREEN!!! [IMG] [IMG]

I am proud of Spartans working so hard to enter Final Four!!! Tom Izzo, coach of MSU makes it into Final Four in his fourth time of his career. I am so proud for him!!

    GO MSU!!!!!

I am so glad MSU finally beat two TOUGH teams - Duke and Kentucky.

This game should be Championship game rather than tournment. Because it was unbelieveable, Sparks made a "luck" threw 3 point scored at the final buzz, even his toe just tiny behind the three point line! Wow!!! This game was very hot!

Also I am so proud for Big Ten League two of three teams just make enter Final Four. Big Ten is so strong!!! I grow in Michigan, that why I am proud for Big Ten teams!

U of M Wolverines are my favorite team. MSU is my second favorite for basketball only.

I am so happy for MSU makes into Final Four.

I know North Carlonia is very strong team, it will be tough and close game for MSU/NC. I wish I could watch MSU/NC game on Saturday night, but I might go to work 3rd shift starts at 10 pm, I hope I will be off this Sat nite, watch MSU/NC.

    GO GREEN!!! GO GREEN!!!! [IMG]
