    They will know us by our love.

    What kind of friends are we? If we have lives governed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, then we are loyal, forgiving, giving, patient, listening, caring people. We are not nosy or gossipy. We are, in short, loving our neighbors as ourselves.

    They will not know us because we go to church. Lots of people do that. They will not know us because we give money to the church. That is supposed to be confidential. The mark of a Christian is in every minute of his or her life -- how they reference their lives to God, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, and how they care for others.

    The ture mark of a christian is LOVE...

    If a person does NOT have love, they do NOT have GOD, because GOD is LOVE!

    Here's my list, though I'm sure there's more ....

    Do's
    Go to church when doors are open
    Be active at church -- SS teacher, choir, and deacon (except for women)
    Dress up when going - women (and girls), long dresses; men (and boys), coats & ties
    Put 10% plus in the plates
    Send kids to Christian school or be home schooled

    Don'ts
    Smoke
    Drink
    Dance
    Go to movies
    Have long hair (men)
    Wear short skirts or too much make-up
    Send kids to public schools
