Featured Maternity leave

Not sure that Jesus ever discussed the issue of confiscatory taxation per se and I am fairly certain that He never discussed the issue of unpaid maternity leave.

 

Whatever he said, he would surely have turned out better if maternity leave had been mandated for Mary; right?

 

madre's maternity leave lasted nearly 20 years. When our first child was born she stopped working outside the home and became a full time mother. Two more children followed. At the time she was making more money than I was, was better educated and had higher earning potential.

We learned how to do without a lot of extras, budgeted and made it work on a single income. And (you may want to sit down before you read this part) she doesn't feel cheated out of being fulfilled as a woman.

She was CEO of the household. The only glass ceiling she worried about was the skylight on the back porch.

 

It "stacks up" exactly the way it should.
