    Check this out...
Bush tried to solve the problem in 2003...
McCain tried to solve it in 2005...

But the democrats stopped them because it would limit the people with bad credit from getting "affordable housing"

    Paul says, in
    2 Thessalonians 3:10
    (10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Democrats say, go ahead, make those that work for a living support those that don't want to...

And we get what we have here now...

The democrats caused the bubble in the first place with the CRA signed under Clinton....

And Obama still wants to play Robin Hood economics...

Check this out... I guess we should have listened to Bush and McCain afterall... http://theminorityreportblog.com/bl...hn_mccain_warned_of_mortgage_collapse_in_2005

Tiny, I honestly believe that the dems want the system to fail as long as a republican is in office. They want Bush to look like a failure even if others have to be hurt to acheive it. They will not support anything that would give Bush any credit whatsoever for a successful resolution to a crisis.

This is dirty underhanded partisan politics and the working people are the ones suffering because of it.

Why did Obama vote against the regulation that would have stopped this crisis, but now says he if for regulations...

    flip flop

It is all about him... and he is not ready to lead!

Exactly my point, as long as a republican proposes the regs, the dems wont support it. Then they turn around and propose it themselves to make themselves the hero.

For the same reason McCain voted against Obama's legislation. Politics!

    Who started CRA? Democrats
    That started the ball rolling.

Who blocked regulation on Fannie and Freddie? Democrats

So yeah.. it is the Democrat's fault.

You all want to rob the rich and give money to people who default on loans...

People with money have it for one reason... they know how to handle it!
People have bad credit for one reason... they don't know how to handle it.

When you take money from people who know how to handle it and give it to people who don't you set up a situation of failure.

Paul said in the Bible that people who don't want to work shouldn't eat...
In Proverbs it speaks about the differences between hard working people and the lazy...

I agree, why don't they just put the Republican's legislation on the ballet in Nov.

Put the Democratic legislation on the ballet in Nov.

Then, we the people can vote them both down and put this thing to rest.

    You really have to love Paulson's nerve;

    Dear Congress,

Please write me a blank check for $700 Billion. I promise to do what's right.

    Respectfully,

    Hank...
