    HELP!

I have been looking for a Minister's Record Book , for keeping track of weddings, funerals, ordinations, and other special occaisions. So far I have been unable to find one. The closest that I found was a one-year planner published by J Countryman. But what I want is one that is designed for long term record keeping.

Does anyone know of where to obtain such an item?

Why not just come up with your own record book in a computer word processing program? That way you can design it and use it as best works for you and your ministry?

I had thought about that, but it would be a nice legacy to have a hard-bound book.

Might have to get one of those blank journals.

Broadman used to have a minister's record book with (blank) chapters with pages for including everything from baptisms to marriages to ordinations. I don't know if they still have it. Perhaps it is a slow seller. Seems like some denominational publishing house would have one.

In addition to SBC, you might try checking differents ones, such as Randall House (FWB), Bogard Press (ABA), Baptist Publishing House (BMA), National Baptist Publishing House (NBC), etc.

Right you are, Brother Robert. Broadman still have an excellent hard-bound book for registrations.

All denominational bookrooms in Canada have registration books for local churches. We are required to keep such records. I have used the Broadman books in most of my churches.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Thanks!

I had asked at our local Lifeway store, and the store manager didn't know of such a thing, so I didn't check at Broadman. I have looked at several others, even Presbyterian and Reformed, all to no avail.

Checking Broadman now, don't see anything, even under "Pastoral Helps."

Received an e-mail from broadman today, their record book is out of print.

I should try Kregel out of print books.
