==True and, after that last reply, I am walking away from this. I think arguing over this is a waste of time. As you point out people will think/believe what they wish.

    ==AMEN :godisgood:

On the other hand there are they who have been so confused by the constant misusage of this word that they will ascribe to God what does not belong to him.

A beating heart does belong to God. He alone created it and he alone makes it beat each and every time.

With that said, I am backing out of this thread also. You and others with your beliefs will believe or not believe whatever you want, and this discussion will not change your mind or heart.

Alright, it was a medical procedure. Is any medical procedure a miracle?

Alright, a miracle is whatever you, I, or anyone else decides it is. A new theory of relativity, I suppose.

Nice choice, bringing up Hinn in this miracle discussion, showing it is one of his type of miracles. I'll tell you as I tell his followers-- show me someone with a missing arm or leg who suddenly grows a new one as a miracle-- not something like a bellache, headache, ulcers,... even an arrested heart with circulation kept artificially going for a few days... which happens to "heal." In this heart case, let him be dead-- no artificial means of supplying his system with oxygen for 4 days, as in the case of Lazurus-- and if he comes alive again, that would be classified as a miracle.

Well sir, it seems to me that your definition of a miracle in this modern day time is what you describe above, a magic act. The fact that anyones life is changed, in the case we are discussing, by miraculous means, is a miracle. His heart was healed. So if he used mechanical devices before it was healed. Maybe it was Gods plan. What were you expecting, the heart to stop, an angel to appear in a room, the old heart to disappear and a new one appear? And just to drive home my point, every time someone is saved, it is a miracle. A child born is a miracle.

You guys STILL don't get it.

IF God performed a miracle on this kid the DOCTORS WOULD NOT NEED TO FIX IT TWO DAYS LATER!!!!!!!

This was no miracle of God.

You guys sure have a way of trivializing what God does don't you?

I get it quite clearly. You dont have a clue what a miracle is.

God can and does still do miracles. Whether or not this one was a miracle, I don't know. It makes no difference to my faith in Him.

Interesting analysis you have, considering that I said what it would take for me to call something a "miracle" would be for someone with a missing arm or leg to grow another one.

We are not discussing it by miraculous means; another missnamed occurance.

I was not expecting anything, and didn't know about this case till it was posted here.

'Someone being saved' has no means of testing, although it does have indicators. And indicators can be wrong-- but apparently you don't know that if you call this heart case a "miracle." As for a baby being born a "miracle," exactly what is it about that process which is physically impossible?

==Considering the "FACT" that no human restarted this boy's heart and no machine restarted his heart I think that is a very dangerous statement. Maybe you should say "I don't think this is a good example of a miracle" or something along those lines. However in this case just to rule out a miracle all together, simply because it is not how you think it should be, seems rather extreme. Keep in mind his heart started "by itself" and not by the hand of a doctor or machine. It may not be the most dramatic miracle since the raising of Lazarus but I do believe it is still a miracle.

I would rather be wrong because I was on the side of caution and say this very well may be a miracle than to be wrong because I just dismissed the chance of this being a miracle all together.

A miracle is anything God made possible by intervening is some manner. Something else that goes along with incidents like this is thankfulness. The indication as you call it is that the heart is still beating.
