Thanx for the heads up. There's no way I'm going to read another election cycle of your vitriolic hatred of the man and his supporters.

Still in the business of telling lies I see. I see that white privilege runs to thinking it can reframe the truth in many different areas.

Lucky for me I can call your lie what it is. So you go ahead and once again throw your support behind a man who rejects Jesus and I'll go ahead and remind you and your brethren just how disgustingly disgraceful it is for a follower of Jesus Christ to do so.

And it that qualifies as vitriolic hate for ya, [IMG] I'm gonna press on and magnify the name of Jesus while you and your fellow Romneyites magnify the name of the one who is against Christ.

Romney's move, after repeatedly saying he wasn't seeking the White House for a third time, could shake up the Republican field and comes as Jeb Bush has been taking steps toward a likely campaign for the White House.

    Anyone but Jeb Bush.

Well, its good to know you feel that way - which would include having no support for President Obama.

Wait - my thinking is that we are electing a Commander-in-Chief - - - NOT a pastor in Chief.

I was in two business partnership - one was a Baptist preacher - the other was basically an atheist.

The Baptist preacher stabbed me in the back - and I lost virtually everything.
The ONLY regret I have with the atheist is that I was not more of a witness to Larry, as he passed into a Christless eternity a few years ago.

Remember - Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were both Southern Baptist - that did NOT make them a good POTUS.

I will be looking at the record and platform of the next set of candidates.

Wow.... Curtis must have struck a nerve for you to stir up white privilege, Romney "worship", fake Christians, and lying all in one post.

Here's the thing Zaac - once it's on the internet, it's there forever.

It took me about two minutes to find this.

Someone back in 2012 right after the election said that "some people didn't vote for Romney BECAUSE he was a Mormon".

    Here was your response.

And there it is. You linked a vote for Romney with the voter being not saved - only a Christian in name only - not a real one. You should have been banned for that statement alone.

At the very LEAST, that IS vitriolic. Vitriol being in in it's true definition a hard and bitter criticism.

At WORST, you have gone from the vitriolic into the realm of actual hatred.

I know you will weasel your way out of this one and turn it around to say that you didn't say that ..... but there it is in black and white.

And in your above post you have accused those who may support Romney (and good gravy, Zaac, we don't even know if he is running!) as people who will be "magnifying the name" of an anti-Christ while you as the proper and good little Christian will "press on" and magnify the name of Jesus.

Again, you link those who voted for Romney in the past as those who would desire for him to run now and have made all of us look like idolators and put yourself as island unto yourself as the only real Christian.

We do not live in a theocracy. We are not charged in the Bible to vote only for people who worship God.

Sometimes, the candidates (ALL of the them) are very flawed. We should seek to put into office those who most closely resemble one who has our own values AND who will do the job the most competent manner. Sometimes that's not easy to find. I've only abstained once in my life and will never do it again. God put Pharaoh in authority as an evil leader for a purpose. At this point, I believe that God has done that again with Obama. It's not always in God's plan to put a Christian in office as leader of the free world. God's plans are His plans. We can't always know those massively supernatural plans. But we can vote our conscience.

I'm sort of hoping that Romney doesn't run. He's had his chance and lost.

I don't know why you started this thread except to incite a riot.

My evidence of that is your post #3. Curtis claimed you had some vitriol in you based on previous conversations about Romney and you proved him right.

You have declared us all who voted for Romney to be supportive of him now and to be unsaved as evidenced by our vote..

I believe Bush is running in an attempt to defeat the more conservative candidates. I have only two problems with Jeb: 1} his stand on immigration and 2} we don't need another Bush in the White House. That smacks too much of an oligarchy!

Geesh. I would have hoped Christians didn't support him either. two days into office the man starts giving money to kill babies and it just went down hill from there.

Pray for him because God says so. But he deserved no more support from Christians than did the Jesus Christ rejecting Mormon, Mitt Romney.

Then Obama's morality or lack thereof shouldn't matter to you either.

    Irrelevant

Gosh. I didn't say vote for them either.
Me too. And if you reject Jesus Christ, you're IMMEDIATELY out of the running.

Nope. It was just all present. I don't get worked up over the constant racial prejudice and racism on this board. It is what it is.

Woman please. As I've said for years, you're good for swooping in and trying to slap me in the face and then hightailing it back out. As I've said to you and others PLENTY of times. If I want to say it, that's what you'll read on the page. So you can save yourself some finger strength by trying to attribute to me something I did not say.

It's vitriolic if , like yourself, you've got an axe to grind and want to claim I said something I did not say. You're making yourself look pretty silly.

And you've gone into the realm of telling lies spurred on by what?

Just like I know you're gonna try to weasel out of the lie you've told in this post. But like I said, if I want to say it, you'll read it. SO save your lies of trying to attribute to me anything I have not said. What I did say is right there in black and white. And what you tried to make it LOOK like I said is there in black and white also.

Yes, white privilege also likes to try and reframe the truth and to garner the approval of others. But that doesn't wash with me.

So go ahead and do your disappearing act. And save your lies.

That wasn't an accusation. That was a stated truth. Just as they did in the previous election. If they do it again, they will again be magnifying the name of that which is against Christ.

Pure hypocrisy and pure foolishness for the same folks who spoke of Barack Obama being influenced by the wickedness he heard under Jeremiah Wright for 20 years denying the same about a man who has practiced idolatry and rejecting Jesus Christ on purpose for at least the last 50 years.

So yes supporting him will magnify the name of that which is against Christ.

That's your opinion. If I intended to call folks idolators, that's what you would have read. You've just got a problem with me pointing out the absurdity of Christians supporting a man who rejects Jesus Christ. So you can stop trying to make this about me attempting to elevate myself. There are no islands in my city.

Then not a single one of you need ever mention abortion or anything to do with morality as a reason for not supporting a candidate.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Just further proof that many in the church have lost their way when it comes to politics. We are to FIRST seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

What values do you who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit have in common with one who rejects Jesus Christ? Scripture tells us Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14

The undergirding principle is not just about marriage.

Bump all this compromise and seeking to put into office those who most closely resemble one who has our own values AND who will do the job the most competent manner.

None of that is BIBLICAL. God says to seek HIS KINGDOM FIRST. He doesn't say try to win an election.

How dare we complain about all the immorality and wickedness that is taking over the world and then turn around to support as the leader of the free world someone who rejects Jesus Christ. Many in the church should still be on their knees repenting of this wickedness.

But the many in the church are just unhumble enough to do it again and then complain for the next four years about why they seemingly keep getting more of the very things they say they don't want.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
    Matthew 6:33

Who said we're supposed to find that? Often I think we're too busy looking for a man to fix things here that we take our eyes off eternity

Yes GOD put him there. God's people did not elect the Pharaoh..

He couldn't be there if God had not placed him there.

God's plan is always to bring glory to Himself. And God is not divided. He's not bringing glory to Himself by telling His people to elevate that which is against Him.

That would be like Him telling the Israelites to go ahead and worship the golden calf.

I started the thread because it was a political news story. As you may not have noticed, I didn't say anything about the story. I merely shook my head. Curtis started the "riot". But privilege doesn't have to acknowledge that either.

The only evidence you have is that Curtis did what you said I did, and if anyone brought vitriol , it was him with you closely on his heels as I , again, didn't say anything about anyone with the OP. I merely posted the story.

And you telling the same lie that you told during the election cycle doesn't make it any truer. Like I said, if I want to say it, you'll read it. So save the lies about what I have declared.

Sure, if your morality is based in lies and you're judging behavior in accordance with those lies.

The morality of the Christian is based in Christ.

Like I said, I'm not putting up with it.

    See you folks in 2017.

Scarlett, you are wasting your time. It is a sin to even engage this hateful man. You've got more grace in your pinky than he has ever shown. I'll miss ya.

Take care. We share a birthday, you know.:wavey:

I don't recall asking you to comment on the story in the first place. but according to your friend Scarlett, I went from vitriol to hatred. No comment on your comments of course because white privilege has to look out for that which cosigns with it.

Yep. Because I don't have to let your lies go without pointing them out to be lies.
But yall complain about the liberals and gays always crying hate.

I didn't say anything about a list of morals.

    I said morality. There's a difference.

    But in case you're wondering.

If the purpose for doing them is not based in Christ and bringing glory to Him, every last one of them is immoral, selfish and self-serving and absent the Holiness and morality of a Divine Jesus Christ Who is the standard.

Are there any born again Christians being mentioned for 2016? Is there even one?

    Has there been any? Ever?
